Flashlight is super low powered and batteries die faster than cheap 80ies batteries. As a bonus you cannot carry batteries with you. There is a bunch of stuff that you feel that you should be able to interact with, but you cannot (except for the odd barrel which carries lighter than paper). Stuff disappear through the floor and there are many places where you can see light through the floor that. Ambiance is good, but there is no story. Idea is OK, but execution is bad.
https://youtu.be/BC3qaLYv9o8 There's nothing scary about scary turnaround. All you will do is walk around, open doors, pick up batteries, and try to find your way out, and it's not difficult at all. It took me about 15 minutes, but that could have been a lot faster if I didn't miss that one door because of all the darkness. I played free games that were more exciting to be honest. I will still recommend it, the game is cheap, but only buy it if you are bored and have nothing better to do, and want to be a little less bored. Game is very VERY short, more like a DEMO.
Unnecessarily too dark with no brightness settings. Batteries for the flashlight seem to make no discernible difference. Otherwise the exploration was interesting-what could be seen of it. Appropriate creepy music. Likely very short. Neutral on this due to lack of ability to maneuver in surroundings. Darkness does not make scary, merely frustrating.
While the name is a bit deceiving.....this game lack any and all forms of fright.....while that does not mean it is a bad game.....it's more of a straight up SHORT walking sim with no objective other then to find an area to leave.......it's a playable game and it looks good enough. I enjoyed it for what it is. Just keep in mind that game is VERY SHORT!!! https://youtu.be/DA-fy8NCWvQ
i was walking around with a flashlight and heard clingin sounds, then i found the exit in 0.1 hours. guess that explains the game pretty well its just walking and finding batteries. would reccomend for people with autism or people who are just otherwise mentally insane. rating for this game: 6 batteries, rotten feet and schizophrenia.
honestly this game isnt bad its a low budget game that has some horror aspects but it is way too dark and doesnt have settings for brightness or sound. I feel like the move object button is useless since i played for roughly 30 minutes and didnt have to pick anything up or zoom with flashlight or charachter. The game should be worked on more maybe have an entity that is searching for you and you have to escape and then a second part/chapter where you escape on the outside. To end my review i have to say the game is what you expect it to be for 1$ and it isnt much. If you want a quick walking simulator it is good and i recommend it
What....what am I supposed to do? Also: Did you not rename the template game you resold?!
A note to all current and future game devs: STUMBLING AROUND IN THE DARK LOOKING FOR FLASHLIGHT BATTERIES IS NOT FUN OR INTERESTING. It is lazy, cliche, annoying, and stupid. It's also the majority of this game. Furthermore, there's no story in the game, no actual ending, and no logic behind where and how the game ends.
