A) Big Booba Undead Blue Girl Evildoer B) This is, 3 hours in, an awesome NES style action rpg. Customizable combos + metroidvania-like exploration, with a game world that gives you a plot full of political intrigue, cybernetic enhancements, and magic makes for a very interesting story. Definitely recommending this.

I'm not sure why this game isn't talked about more, it deserves some attention. In a post indie gaming landscape the 8bit retro demake throwback nostalgia bait game has been done to death. "Pixel-Knight saves pink sprite from color coded evil boss sprites in modern plat-former disguised as retro console game. Navigate menus and RPG skill trees. Play as dlc characters with your friends such as gaming journalism website mascot or super meatboy. Also Rogue-like-lite random generated levels and dungeons..." You will find NONE of this here. To me, at the very least, Project Nosferatu feels more like a game with a story the dev just wanted to make LIKE THIS. Like Secret of Mana or Legend of Zelda or Star Tropics. The graphics, the cutscenes, how lore is presented, the sound effects and the music all hit and feel like a game you'd have to blow into to run. I get hints of Blaster Master mixed in with some Ninja Gaiden...for some reason, I'm not sure. Maybe its the color pallets and the anime/m...
