I had a really great time with this game and occupied my attention for the better part of my weekend, 7.5/10. Let me try and not spoil anything and forgive this review from being messy as I write this quickly. in many ways the game reminded me of “The Count Lucanor” although a much different game I felt very much in the same head space. The game is themed as a horror and echos the sense of Lovecraftian type horror. The game message with one of the final collectables gives you insight on what the game is reflecting on as a whole how ever the game resonated with me on alot of levels both with the themes and with more settle nuances of the game and I think many will feel the same way. I am going to list many of the pros and cons I faced over my 9.5 hours of game time. And then end it with some final thoughts Pros- Boss battles- I feel the boss battles were great and fun to sight Leveling options- I enjoyed the fact there were some options to improve your self, the game very e...

Only in Act 2 right now, but this game is SO GOOD The themes are great, and relatable for many students. Combat is similar to Dead Cells, but with more of a motivation than just, hey, kills this thing, because why not. 10/10

I have only played a bit of the game so far, but I can already tell this game is going to be awesome!! The enemy design is awesome, and the story has me quite intrigued! Tristan is someone I can really relate to and the atmosphere of the world really sucks you in! I wanna click all the flavor text and find all the collectibles! I can't wait to play more!!

It's decent. The mental health issues were extremely relatable to me, but won't be for everyone. The gameplay is surprisingly good, if simple and not extremely demanding. Highlights include: Corridors maintain consistent left and right orientation, making navigation easy. The chapter bosses patrol and are *problems* due to how light and stress work. Boss fights actually name various moves and have a bar showing how long they'll last... which is mostly just a nice touch, but really important for communicating when you need to be running. About the only glaring negative was grinding for currency and trophies from various monsters to trade for goodies back at the hub. Partly because I'd always forget the luck consumable, but... felt like it padded gameplay more than adding to gameplay. Also had me filling out the skill tree rather early. Felt like there should have been more nodes on the tree, or less grind overall. It's still a pretty minor annoyance, I just stopped to farm once a chap...

Great game, great message. Playing on higher difficulties is unfair since you take damage just by being seen...

Been a huge fan of Noxia since day 1. It transposes survival horror mechanics into 2D in a way that preserves what makes the genre so tense and rewarding. The achievements and unlockables kept me playing as well. Props to the developer for this great debut title

A charming game. Controls are fluid. Combat is fun. I'm enjoy the story thus far, though I've made it to the hospital.
