Incredibly fun. Enjoyed the tweaks to Pablo's moveset. Didn't click with Luna's gameplay style as it's more methodical and tactical than straight platforming. I felt Grapple Dog 1 is more cohesive in that regard. Somewhat easier than the first game, especially the more forgiving time trials. Bosses have a different vibe this time. Servi in particular was fun and memorable. When Penn used the swords it was annoying. I don't like that there's an achievement for beating the final boss without any health upgrades but no way to remove an upgrade. Finding all the Duck Bands and getting all Gold Medals was fun. Tons of customization, and I like the references of some of the grapple hooks. Some have different sound effects, but I wish more had unique sounds. I love all the nuances and techniques to the movement. I hadn't heard of the Grapple Dog franchise until I received this game in a bundle, and I'm very glad I stumbled upon it. If you like lighthearted platformers with gorgeous and unique levels, as well as an absolute BANGER soundtrack (seriously, it's incredible) you'll definitely like Grapple Dogs. My only nitpick would be the story. It's definitely my least favorite part of this game. Thankfully, this is a platforming game about dogs with grappling hooks, so the story is certainly not the main focus.
