This game should still be in early access. I really wanted to like this game because of it's unique Chaucer aesthetics but the combat is too clunky, the crafting is rudimentary, and homesteading doesn't add anything new to the genre. If this game was in early access I'd say wait for a few years before looking at this game again. But as it is at full release, it's just not there. I'd refund this game if I could.

Devs really need to fix the coop interaction bug. Its been an issue l9nger than acceptable. So much potential wasted on constant reloads... too bad.

I have almost 100 hours in this game and have really enjoyed playing it so far. I'm a longtime player of Stardew Valley and Mirthwood has a similar vibe. It's a great mix of cozy and adventure with an intriguing story-line. Would definitely recommend!

I genuinely love the game. It's essentially medieval stardew valley with a few fantasy elements. However the grind for resources early game can be excruciatingly slow. At the time of this review I have around 8 and a half hours in game, and I haven't touched it in a few months although I do plan on coming back eventually. After around 6 hours in game I began experiencing crashes EVERY TIME I died, and occasionally when browsing through my inventory, I also occasionally had minor frame drops and skipping. The game itself is a solid 8/10, however with the bugs and frequent crashing I began to experience relatively early into the game I'm not sure I can wholeheartedly recommend the game in its current state.

When this game first came out, I liked it, and it had a lot of promise. However, it was obvious the game was still in early access, even though it didn't say that on the store page. That should've been a big red flag for me, but at the time, it was still playable. Now that I've recently started playing it again, I found that it's unplayable. The number of bugs and glitches is ridiculous. I was already disappointed that it was missing so many standard features this type of game would have (early access issue), now I can barely play it without running into a technical problem. Mark it with early access. Come back in like a year. Maybe.

I really like this game, the atmosphere is great, a dark medieval setting. The progress you make via crafting and farming is slow and every building and new machinery takes a lot of resources and some time to make but every new item or building you make feel more fulfilling as your quality of life slowly improves. The combat is a bit janky though but ive gotten used to it and kinda enjoy it now. The villagers and NPC's dont really have much depth and increasing affinity with them feels more like a gamble but the world itself has a lot of stories it tells through quests, the environment and encounters where you can find old letters. Theres a few bugs ive encountered like how some resources spawn in unreachable areas and some description errors (the chicken stall can house 3 chickens not 2). Overall i enjoy this game quite a lot and hope they continue to add to it and improve it.

I'd say it's an early access, but apparently developers don't think so. Anyway, I really enjoy the game although it has huge amount of bugs

Very chilled out little cozy game. Some elements of fighting (not easy but I'm getting there), and some farming resource management in it as well. I think its a good little game , stick to the quests for a better entry on a new start! I went off piste and it took me a while to realise lol. Graphically charming, love the music as it is really atmospheric. I think it is worth the money and I suspect that this might reach into the 100's of hours category.
