Unfortunately some of the levels in this game feel like they are designed to be frustrating. Also whoever wrote the lines for the narrator needs to go back to their day job. I challenge you if you play this: Imagine the narrator was completely removed from the game, wouldn't it be so much better? Also the flashlight cranking is a completely useless mechanic that shouldn't have made it into the final game.

About the Game
Journey once again into a malevolent world inspired by H.P Lovecraft’s myths where madness awaits on every corner. Embark on a path to salvation as you continue the story of the Priest character from the first installment. How long can you balance on the edge of sanity? Will your sins be forgiven, or your soul consumed by madness?

Distinctive dark comic-like visuals
Dark hand-drawn graphic design where every frame looks like a page from a comic book is one of the pillars of Forgive Me Father, and the sequel brings a fresh perspective to its unique style with improved sprites, models and atmospheric lighting effects. Prepare to feast your eyes on juicy blood effects and animated gibs flying everywhere!
Dive into the madness
Defeat Lovecraftian nightmares with a wide range of weapons. Fight hosts of diverse, formidable enemies and beware: each and every one of them evolves into different, ever more evil and twisted forms of themselves - this journey does not get any easier!
Gear up and fight
Define your own playstyle and assemble the deadliest arsenal with plenty of weapons to choose from, each with even more powerful variations designed to cause absolute mayhem and bring utter destruction upon your foes. Take your pick from devastating shotguns, lethally accurate rifles, explosive launchers, and unleash their full potential.
Gain mad skills
Overwhelming madness is your best friend and worst enemy at the same time. Let it flow through you, unleash absolute mayhem on your foes and gain extraordinary powers as a reward. Embrace the insanity, use it to fuel your bizarre new abilities, and teach the horrors assaulting your senses to fear YOU!
Otherworldly soundtrack
Experience the surprisingly fitting combination of strong electric guitar riffs and energetic drums underscoring the dark Lovecraftian atmosphere. Slay hordes of deranged cultists and confront unimaginable ancient evil while listening to the original soundtrack that will make you headbang for hours on end.

User Reviews
Forgive Me Father 2 fits for every fan of old school shooters, it may not bring anything new to the boomer shooter genre but its pure mindless fun and the artistic design that resemble comics gives it a extra special look, that and the Lovecraftian inspired monsters and environments. The guns you choose and upgrades are another thing that sticks out, evolve your gun to make it look grotesque and deal more damage and pick personal upgrades that would fit your playstyle better. The Hub in the game feels well put together, you are inside the characters mind who seems to sink into insanity more and more, and that is where you will choose the next level, buy upgrades and guns and uncover lore and mysteries involved. Its chaotic and fast paced with some difficulty spikes in between and it feels always thrilling to encounter new types of enemies. Overall really good fun. ✧⊱༒︎༺ If you liked my review and want to know what other games I play and review, check my Curator page [url=htt...
Frenetic, Fast Paced, Frightening. Truly an excellent shooter, excellent atmosphere and truly engaging level designs. Highly recommend. Much like the foul unknown it consumes your attention.
Great game if you like boomer shooters and Lovecraft. Art style is amazing, enemies and especially the guns are so unique and fun. Some levels are a bit weaker but overall a great experience. Really recommend!
Even without finishing the game I can safely say I think this is a decent boomer shooter. The last game had level design problems that still are somewhat problems here but at a WAY smaller scale, 70 percent of the areas are fun to play on. The style was something I had a problem with in the first game where it did look pretty great sometimes but a lot of the time it felt like with were out of place. This game still has a small amount of things feeling out of place but they really have improved and there is less of that for sure. I could say more but all I really need to say is this is Forgive Me Father 1 but better.
This is what a sequel should be. A true one. Not trying to do anything different and not trying change what you loved about his franchise. If you enjoyed the first game then you will enjoy this one for all the same reasons and more. Bravo to the studio
Sadly due to questionable design choices - removing upgrades like 1st game had, HUNTING FOR CLOCKS for no apparent reason than getting 100% level completion sucked away most of the fun for me.
Love it
Last episode is unbalanced on normal difficulty leading to a frustrating slog that's not fun. The final boss is easier than half the other levels. Also game is a lot shorter than the first one. Feels Rushed. Buy on sale.
Overall improvement from the first game, which I also enjoyed. Level design and aesthetic are both a huge step up.
