I love survival game. This game reminds me a lot of Outward. Very similar IMO. It is a fun fresh take on a genre that tries way to hard with some companies. The night raids are fun and get very challenging. I do not regret getting this gem. Game has easy mechanics, great graphics, and is just fun all the way around.

This game scratches a lot of itches: survival/craft, base-building with defense against raids, farming, exploration. Is it perfect? no. It needs a lot of work, tweaks and obviously the continuation of the story. But I still recommend it for anyone who is a survival/craft fan, and who understands what they sign up for with Early Access (bugs, unfinished "story", balance issues).

Even with this being an early access game it has fantastic lore written into it already. I'm very impressed with the rewarding system and it can be very tough or much easier with how many settings there are to play with. The game doesn't hold your hand but it gives just enough of a tutorial to help you understand the mechanics when you're just starting off. What I would say really needs tweaking is how fast the food and drink goes down even after unlocking the skill to slow consumption rate. A big issue that I had with the game is that when you're swimming there is no way to get out of the water besides a smooth enough ground to walk out of. On other surfaces your character can climb up after double tapping the space bar so I hope that's implemented there too as well as having an actual way to get back on your ship when you've built one as I had to abandon my big ship because I couldn't retrieve it. Nonetheless, I am looking forward to the changes and hope it will only keep improving.

Currently unplayable for me. The recent update to the build interface made the game unplayable for me. It's far too complicated, instead of using the mouse cursor to pick materials, build groups, and individual pieces, you have to scroll through everything using various keys... 1 \ 3 scroll left \ right through materials, Q \ E scroll left \ right through build groups (walls, foundations, etc...). To rotate objects you have to hold R and scroll the mouse wheel, to change the function of the hammer you have to hold T and scroll the mouse wheel... it's not intuitive, it slows down building (in a time sensitive game), and it technically does not work for some players. I'm one of those players where it technically does not work. I hold T and scroll the mouse wheel and I hear an audible click to signal that the function has changed, however the function does not changes. If It hold T and doom scroll it eventually makes it to the next function... but it's so random that I'm not willing to...
