The year is 2915, and humanity has begun colonizing star systems close to Sol. On Proxima C5, Terran mining colonies have become the target of a brutal alien assault. As a member of Strike Force Delta—an elite interstellar commando squad—it’s up to you to reclaim the colonies and push back the Gacrux threat. Choose to fight solo, join forces with friends in co-op, or face off in adrenaline-fueled PvP arenas across a stunning, futuristic landscape.

Assault On Proxima offers fluid, intense gunplay designed to get you right into the action. Fight your way through challenging missions that mix skillful shooting with strategic objectives:
Solo Campaign: Brave the alien threat alone, diving into a narrative-driven campaign full of dangerous encounters and larger-than-life alien foes.

PvP Matches: Compete against other players in fast-paced PvP matches to prove your dominance. Test your skills and tactics in modes like Capture the Flag, Conquest, and Free For All. In multiplayer PvP, choose to fight as the human marines of Strike Force Delta or take on the role of the Gacrux aliens, each side offering unique abilities and playstyles.
Fast-Paced Combat: Assault On Proxima features accessible, adrenaline-filled gunplay that rewards sharp reflexes and skillful play.
Dynamic Scaling in Co-Op: Experience scaling difficulty in co-op mode, where enemies adapt to the strength and coordination of your team.
Over-the-Top Alien Encounters: Every inch of Proxima C5 teems with hostile aliens hell-bent on shooting or eating you first. Face relentless Gacrux invaders with unpredictable tactics, from swarming drones to the massive, armored Gacrux crabs—a towering foe that can be launched into orbit with the right firepower.
Diverse Environments: Navigate a range of treacherous landscapes, from abandoned colonies to alien-infested wilderness, where every mission challenges your survival skill.
Unique Art Style: Immerse yourself in a vibrant comic-book-inspired sci-fi universe that makes every encounter a visual thrill.

User Reviews
This is a mixed bag. I played this single player on Steam Deck, and I can't say that I feel like this is a full game. I'm giving this a negative review purely because of the amount of problems I experienced and the amount of content available. I was going to give it a positive review, but there's just too much wrong about it to justify telling others to buy it in the current state, especially for $10. I hope more games like this come out that do a better job, but this just isn't it. Pros - Controls are fluid and responsive. I never felt like there was a point where I was frustrated from controlling my character. This doesn't happen often in indie games, so great job making it feel comfortable. - You can explore anywhere you can reach. This means you can softlock yourself in the environment, but that's your own fault if you climb into a hole you can't jump out. - The game looks nice. Not only that, but the frame rate never dropped regardless of the amount of enemies. - Having the camp...
It won't allow me to change the camera sensitivity or the zoom. I hit Apply and Accept and no matter what it stays on default. It's a sad situation. I like everything else about the game and it most definitely has potential. But when you make a Fps , kinda sorta play other Fps Shooters and see what they get right and copy their mechanics.
where do I start.. first the negative reviews seem to be just trolls because me and 2 teammates just got done sinking 3 hrs into it and it was a lot of fun, it is fast paced and thats whats fun, limited ammo so you have to find ammo and health regens also fun, constant non stop respawn of enemies also fun, run around and finding better weapons also fun, picking up dead boss weapon and kick a$$ also fun so yes buy it it is well worth it and will support dev so we get more missions, no glitching lagging or crashes btw
yes
