This the closest thing we have for CTR NF PC port It also has 90% at least similar gameplay with CTR of course with multiplayer online racing mode, also leaderboard With the steam worksop compatibility, the possibility of custom tracks, racer, and vehicles is endless If you like CTR and/or CTR NF, this is 100% a must have! Bobby :)

I love this game but I honestly don't think I can recommend it in it's current state: Driving feels really good, but most of the base game tracks just aren't very fun for me: they're a little too narrow, some have obstacles right in the middle of the track that can be difficult to avoid, and most have "shortcuts" that just open up on subsequent laps and are basically required to keep up. The items can be a little unbalanced but are fine for the most part. The health system on the other hand is incredibly stupid and should just be removed entirely. There's only four characters in the base game and they all seem fairly uninspired to me. The base karts are pretty good though and have a fair bit of variety, but there's a large lack of variety in tires. What made me fall in love with the game, however, are the mods: there's a huge variety of characters, karts, tires, and great tracks from other kart racers such as Mario Kart and CTR with a few original ones as well. Overall playing a heav...
IF YOU APPROACH THIS LIKE A MARIO KART WITH NO ONE ELSE OF YOUR (presumably novice) SKILL LEVEL, YOUR ASS WILL BE SERVED AROUND ON A SILVER PLATTER
This is NOT an easy kart racer, period. The game has probably one of the highest skill floor a kart racer has with a skill ceiling that you can't even see and wont see even after climbing a good long while. Unfortunately (at least of the time of me writing this) the game does a pretty bad job at actually teaching players who may only be familiar with Mario Kart and Mario Kart adjacent games on how to get on to the skill floor, but once you're past that, it is an adrenaline rush like you wouldn't believe. When you actually begin to engage and learn how to build and preserve the game's reserve system, you'll feel like a speeding god weaving around the most insane of turns at what feels like blistering speeds, which sucks cause these (very obviously inspired) CTR Nitro Fueled esqu artstyle can't really be appreciated with ease. Th...

Short Version: This game is for freaks. If you had/have 100% "Blue Fire Autism" / Perfection in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, then yes. Buy this game. You'll have fun and likely be competitive with the players online. Long Version: As a normal dude who really loves and loved Crash Team Racing back in the day, I tried this on a Steam Next Fest demo period ages ago, and thought it was pretty good. Caught me by surprise when it came out in Early Access, and boy howdy. +Lots of content. +SERIOUSLY, LOTS OF CONTENT AND CUSTOMIZATION Talking 16 normal tracks, <XXX> number of custom tracks (Including scenic locales like N.Gin Labs, Sky Babylon, and Daisy Cruiser! Your favorite kart game may be represented here!), <XXX> custom character models with or without voice lines, custom karts, and more! +++Promising Future Dev roadmap is VERY AMBITIOUS. We're talking custom track editor, tag karters, and more. This could be the 'forever kart racing game' that plays better than th...

TLDR: CTR Bros Ultimate - Everyone Is Here! I'm genuinely against giving early access reviews unless there's something severe to try notify new buyers about. However, this game is something special think of perfect evolution to the CTR formula with no speed-cap and paving your own routes by track-cutting. The actual game-feel is so good, you get that rare progress feel when you are getting better, Playing CTR again feels just slow and a huge-step back. Not even to mention the volume of mods on the workshop let's you race on some great community made maps. My only complaints is a decent bunch of UI still needs improvement, readability for power-ups and Item balancing needs a bit of a look over its not that the sprites or models suck but for first time players its not clear what items do until you've used it a few times nor how effective it is at dealing damage, but as someone who plays mostly time trials items aren't an issue for me but its still something that needs work while the ga...

To anyone that enjoys Mario Kart, Crash Team Racing, Sonic and Whatever Racing Game, this is a pretty good game. Probably the best Kart Racer on PC, actually. Once it's on consoles, it'll either be the best on that console or fiercely competitive, too. I had something more in-depth written, but crashed before I could post it. Game good.

Where do I even START with The Karters 2: Turbo Charged?! This game is absolutely insane in the best way possible. It feels like the ultimate mashup of every great kart racer ever made—and then some. First off, the mods. Holy. The sheer variety is unreal. You’ve got mods inspired by everything from classic kart racers to futuristic high-speed games. One minute I’m racing through a neon-drenched city that gives F-Zero vibes, the next I’m drifting around tracks that feel ripped straight out of Diddy Kong Racing or Crash Team Racing—but with even more polish. The customization is next-level. Outfits, kart wheels, entire karts—there’s a ridiculous amount of them and they’re all dripping with style. I’ve spent way too much time just mixing and matching different skins to make the perfect setup. Shoutout to the devs for including skins that reference other games too—it’s such a fun nostalgia trip. And the tracks? There's a plethora (yes, I used that word becaus...

Neutral Feelings. While the game shows an amazing amount of promise, I can't recommend it in it current state. It's very clear that the Devs put a lot of heart and soul into crafting this game to perfectionist standards, unfortunately it sort of ends up backfiring. This game was designed with an extraordinarily high skill ceiling that rewards the most advanced players who are competing at GDQ speed runner levels of play, breaking the maps and short cutting at a "might as well be a glitch" level of skill. However, as a result, anyone who is not in that 10% of the advanced player base is basically just punished for trying to play which is reflected in the Steam Charts of the player base dropping dramatically since launch indicating a lot of player frustration. The over emphasis on the drift boost mechanics with no real negative impact to balance it out (risk vs reward, no upper speed cap, etc) creates situations where the top players are going so fast that the items are effectively u...

Honestly a pretty great CTR alternative on PC but the public lobbies are.. mixed😕 Having Workshop support while it could result in really funny combinations of karts and racers, that also means people are just going to vote for already-popular tracks from other series where they already know the nooks and crannies of them; giving the feeling of my losses are often unjustified -- feeling more towards people kept picking comfort picks rather than caused by my own lack of skill With such an asking price it's going to be pretty hard to ask my friends to play along too :'D I'll probably update this review once I didn't felt that way again with public lobbies
