I really wanted to like this game. As a self described 4D addict I really wish there were more 4D games and I got really excited when a friend sent me a link to this one. And looking at it it looked alright, just a mini game pack but it could be fun. When I played this game I was disappointed by the lack of care that went in to it. Immediately the game throws a tutorial at you that shows you how to rotate and that rotations happen inside of planes. This is a very nice tutorial and I liked the bit about planes as lots of people don't know this. I then tried the 4D maze and to my dismay I wasn't able to rotate in 4D, making the maze frustrating and difficult rather than enjoyable. Why show me how to rotate if I can't? Also the maze needs some projected shadows to make seeing where I can go easier. I checked out the shape guesser, and while it is annoying and a bit unintuitive to select which shape you thought it was, it was pretty fun. If it was a list of words or something even better,...

The math for this checks out. If our neurons were wired in just the right way we would be able to imagine in our minds what a 4D shape might look like and see it for ourselves the way it is. Not just a slice of it but the whole object in its entirety. The sad part about that, if you were able to, is that you would never be able to show anyone else what only you can see. To try and draw or recreate these shapes would be like trying to draw in 3D (upwards) on a flat piece of paper (2D.) The direction just isn't there. While you could draw a projection of it, no one would understand because a projection will always appear to be distorted, much like how the angles of a projection (the shadow) of a regular translucent 3D cube are not 90° even though we know that all the edges of the real 3D cube is. In this game you are able to inspect and play around with essentially just that, the 3D rendered projections of 4D shapes. It is even possible to recreate real-life objects in the Shap...

I like the game ❤️ It's a rather small collection🔹 Maze's controls are a bit clunky 🎛️ Chess has no CPU opponent yet 🚫🤖 4D Playground is informative 🧑‍🏫 Shape Editor is fire🔥 Shape Match is ez😎 Rotation Match is my favorite🤩 Pose Match is very challenging🏋️ 3D Playground is also informative ℹ️ The music is very chill and cozy 🙂

When i first saw the game, i was excited to try it out. But after playing the game for almost an hour, i found it to be quite tedious. I found the beginning tutorial to be one of the best out there, it was simple and intuitive, and it's interactive nature allowed me to easily get behind the controls. The games on the other hand, are one of the worst 4D games I ever played. aside from shape matcher, the rest are far to complex to even be remotely fun. Having a lenth of more than 5 to 10 min top. One where you have to guess the rotation of the object you can't even see and the other forcing you to match 3D cross-sections exacly without mistake. The 4D maze was decent but without the ability to rotate and see your position you're just going to end up going in cercles, until you find the end goal. If your a casual wanting to experience a cool 4D game, then this game just ain't for you, if you don't have prior knowledge of 4D or genius.
