A Moment of Bliss

It’s a shame they don’t give us stars to rate games as GOG does. I’d give this game two but I’m forced into a binary choice. Thus I’m going with the Roman Colosseum model and a thumbs down. Not because I think it’s a bad game or a poorly executed one. Its writing, style, and execution are better than 80% of the garbage in my AVN collection. But I deleted it from my computer and here’s why. The gals look like porcelain dolls. They're just not sexy. Not sultry. Not steamy. Just painfully cute with bright, happy little eyes incapable of even a hint of a CFM expression. Too many words. They’re well written words. But I don’t play AVNs for N; I play them for the A and the V. Three hours, no sex so far. And one thing I cannot stand is getting c-ck-blocked by a porn game. Worth playing if you enjoy AVn's plenty of nice females

One of my favorite aspects of A Moment of Bliss is the level of customization. Being able to name characters and define relationships let me tailor the game to my own tastes, fantasies, and curiosities. It reminded me of the old “choose your own adventure” books from the 80s—yes, I’m dating myself, and that’s fine. I grew up with Pong and the Atari, and I’ve always wished games could grow and mature alongside me, reflecting my age and evolving interests. The artwork is outstanding. Graphics in this genre have come a long way, and the attention to detail in the character models was impressive. Animations were smoother and more polished than many similar titles I’ve played—and I mostly stick to this genre now. A Moment of Bliss is probably the most exceptionally talented Adult Visual Novel (AVN) I have ever enjoyed! The art for the character models is exceptionally arousing, very contemporary, and exceedingly HOT! The art overall, backgrounds, etc., is fantastic and smartly produced to eliminate grind leaving more time for the HOT scenes, too! One of the beauties of this AVN is the genius the developers incorporated of leaving the decision of whether or not to make the plot a "family affair" or not by giving the choice to the player in the beginning of how you name the relationships: it's left up to the player how to fill these in... I chose to make it a family affair because I've always thought that forbidden fruit is more exciting! Nevertheless, there's BRILLIANT script writing at work with this plot! ! ! It’s good, but too short! Plenty of sex, good models. Wish they would add pregnancy content. Worth it overall yeah, but left me with wanting more. Ends on a cliff hanger unfortunately.
