I got this game on sale, as it stuck out from the wall of options I had. I'm intrigued by thalassophobia, and this game falls right alongside that genre. Museum of Monoliths is a masterpiece. Truly. While the game is relatively short, one can proceed at a slower pace and admire the scenery. In my opinion, each environment presents questions as I try to make sense of what lies before me. And unfortunately, those questions often go unanswered. Additionally, the museum is not so on rails that I can daydream whilst playing, but not difficult to where I'll get lost; it's enough to keep one engaged yet constantly wondering what's next. And personally, I found myself well immersed in the game during my play-through despite being aware of the simplistic scenery and assets. About This Game
The game consists of separate, not directly connected, abstract levels, similar to the exhibition halls in a museum. Thus, each level is a full-fledged mini-game with its own story.
The sound of each level changes due to your movements through the location. And the biggest changes in sound occur when you interact with special objects, such as Monoliths. The audio experience of each playthrough is unique, in many cases you choose yourself which music track will be played in that location.
- about 1 hour of gameplay
- 10 levels to explore

User Reviews
A very simple walking sim. You explore a colourful environment which can be surreal at times and abstract at others. The sound is interesting but not always what you might expect. If you prefer, you can mute the game and play while listening to your own music. Think of it as an interactive screen saver that you can use to unwind after a long day. I liked it.
if you played ac odyssey the world is genuinely beautiful and imagining a walking around it is pleasing while this has some really bizarre atmosphere though pleasant albeit in a odd kind of way not much for story though a great catalyst for the imaginitive
Ok to play while watching some stuff
