Apparently Disgaea 7 complete's a Switch 2 exclusive in NA. Since the JP version can get this upgrade regionally (as confirmed by a friend of mine), I can't in good faith recommend 7 to anybody until the NA version sees a similar treatment, as you're missing out on essentially the entire postgame and all additional party members, as well as post-game episodes you won't even get if you shell out x2 the base price of the game in NA. It should also be noted that for PC ports of recent Disgaea releases in NA since 4 have had a slew of strange treatments from being put offline (essentially making half the fun content moot) to what we're seeing right now. If you're also a vet of the series and new to 7, you should also know a large quantity of content the older games had from chara world, magichange, monster weapons, and Overcharge/Rampage (Which I guess could be argued as a more niche new feature but still) have been removed. After playing Disgaea 4 and having to take a break, i saw this newer Disgaea and was truthfully excited about the changes and diving back into the world. JFC i was wrong, this game has put me to sleep multiple times in the same day 3 times in a row and the characters are not engaging in the slightest. I was at least hoping for the Char World to alleviate the disappointment only to find it has also be removed... Others might like this entry but i cannot stand it. Be warned before buying

I'm a BIG Disgaea fan. Mainly 1-4 and some of the others. This games felt good at the start to play and the story seemed fine, but by chapter 3-4 it starts to go down hill. Plus I really dislike the auto-play.. Battles almost feel like a mobile game at times. Bring back the older ways of Disgaea design and art.
