This game really caught me off guard. It's a very short Metroidvania with some really fun movement and fantastic boss fights. It took me 5 hours to 100% in my first playthrough, but I beat it in 40 minutes after some routing for one of the achievements. Here are my thoughts: • The characters are awesome. Most especially I really, really like Laguna and Charlotte - they both compliment each other perfectly in gameplay (which is great given how much screentime they have), and I also dig the idea of them both being reluctant participants in the story in their own ways. I think that Clyde should have been given more time to shine and is comparatively the least interesting of the four, but I suppose that's the fate of the fourth wheel. • The bosses are awesome. Quality over quantity. There aren't many, but I had fun with every single one of them. They're all just very fun in their own ways and never retread ground. • I think that the blood vessel fast travel is a novel concept, but...

Damn near perfect.
Enjoyable game. Loved the creatures. Didn't feel unfair at any point, but also managed to stump me at a few points. Only real annoyance was that early on you could get into the left half of the map and have to make a very long trek back to the center. Solid 9/10 game.
Great game for metroidvania lovers. Ever wondered what it's like to be a white blood cell? Well now you can play as WBCs... that are furry! The game world is small enough that getting truly lost probably won't happen. But finding a path forward isn't always obvious. The actual platforming is around medium difficulty. You won't be challenged by the jumps if you're a veteran of the genre, but swapping characters mid-jump to use different abilities might get you finger-tied in places. Combat is tougher than the jumping (at default/normal settings). I died more to being careless while exploring/fighting than I did to the bosses (each boss only took one or two attempts). The story did a good job with setting stakes and providing motivation. The actual writing is pretty good, too! I appreciated that every character felt like an individual. A lot gets done with a little here. The game IS short (my time at review is after a first-play, no-guides 100%). But don't fall into the trap of ...
Pretty fun metroidvania not too long. Its got a good balance of difficulty even if bosses look spongy they aren't. Controls pretty well only complaint is trying to do skips with switching characters gets complicated when you have more characters. Speaking of characters all well designed nice to have the switching mechanic. The rescue system is cool and would be a fun idea to turn it off for harder playthroughs. Only problem i had is items didn't really feel great to have, i like the idea of them but found them to be very meh to use i put on something i thought would be great but it didn't really change much Interesting world idea would love to see some post game content or something.
Absolutely excellent! Feels like the first "The world is literally alive" stories that significant thought put into it, like scientists constantly monitoring all of its internal organs and 24/7 guards watching its heart. The 4 playable characters are also balanced against each other perfectly, none feeling stronger or weaker than the others. Excellent character designs too. The complaints I have is that the fast travel system being a loop of blood vessels, while a cool idea, means that each tube only goes one way, and sometimes you can end up on the wrong side of the area you were trying to get to, necessitating a lot of walking. Also, tuning the damage received from enemies down a bit would be appreciated when there's no way to heal on command. Overall, a solid 9/10
Just happened to find this game a few months after it released [strike]and may have gotten stuck for months only to realize there was a ledge at the base I apparently never tried getting to[/strike]. Unique warp system and theming, characters with unique movement/attacks, and a "lives"-like system with rescues Surprised still seemingly no one talks about this game at all
