I really enjoy the story so far, it's full of struggles and deep emotions. The developer did a great job showing the struggle the MC character is dealing with, especially taking into account his past experiences. However, it's pretty sad that there are no intimate moments between him and the girls he gets close with. I am not talking about full fledged lewd scenes, but something subtle would've been nice to release the emotional tension. I think that's the weakest part of this season. I love story and character driven AVNs, but intimate moments would've been a pinch of salt that the story really needs. Overall, amazing experience! Great story.

God, this game captivated me. At first, I had no idea what was going on for about 30 minutes, but then the story started to unravel. The focus on getting to know each other and establishing/deepening relationships in this game is masterful. Seriously, if you're an AVN fan looking for something more than just sex scenes, this game is definitely for you. I'll add that the renders are truly superb, and all the girls are beautiful and hot. The only thing that irritated me the most was the main character's hair, but after the hairstyle change, it wasn't so bad anymore (I just had a strange feeling that his hair was floating in a vacuum).

While I am familiar with the other game ''Where It All Began'' from the Dev, I decided to give Summer's Gone a try and I was enthusiastically surprised by the visual novel. The story is quite unique with different personalities and one actually need to do some effort by creating a meaningful relationship with one or a few ladies. The visuals are also greatly produced and the soundtrack does have some amazing songs in them. My compliments for the DEV and I can't wait for the next updates with both his games :)

After a while i can say Bella is a bitch, but at the same time a character with actual personality. MC also seems fine, Nami and Sasha also feel like there is something to them. Another great point is that there is little mindless chatter - a filler text that never ends and doesnt provide anything to the story, character depth etc. A very good read so far with great renders.

Magnificent game, the art, the story, the characters, all the renders, animations and motions are fluent and high quality, i truly recommend this game in general terms.

I really thought, was I going to really enjoy this with no sex scenes in it? Surprisingly, it is enjoyable. There are many hints from the women in the story who want some kind of relationship with the MC. But there's the twist that the MC wants the relationships too, but is very careful to express them in his own way. There are a few typos, but you tend to ignore them to continue with the story. It's like a book that you can't put down. But I have put the bookmark in the book and get some sleep, but welcome the next day to find what the MC will get into next.

Got this game for free in GOG about a week ago. After finishing the Season One. I then decided to buy the game in full price in steam to show my support to the Dev(Ocean).

I picked this up because i just finished "Where It All Began", which is a prequel to "Summer's Gone", in that they are set in the same world but largely unrelated stories (so far). Obviously I liked WIAB enough to play SG. Like WIAB it took a little while to get into the characters, but the character building was well done and perhaps benefited from the slow burn. The story in Season 1 is perhaps about character building - a broken MC forced out of their comfort zone, finding an array of others with their own demons, helps himself by helping them. Perhaps thats just how i played it though - since i only did one play-through i cannot say how much my decisions may affect the scenario. Renderings, composition, and framing are all excellent. i would say that WIAB was better - but as that was developed after SG it just shows that the team are refining their art, and raises expectations for Season 2 of both. Lewd stuff: Really none in this game. i actually didn't notice until i was form...
