generally, i did enjoy this game a lot. i just feel like the money paid for it does not equal the time spent playing. i finished this in about an hour, which i think is a lot for $5. i think if they just added a few more levels, it would have been perfect and totally worth it. but for me personally i did not find it worth it. the game is very well made and is a perfect cozy game though, so if you don't mind the lower playtime then i would absolutely recommend this game to you!

Short or small games can often receive a bad rap due to the misconception that their lack of length equals a lack of content. Spilled! is a game that proves the contrary, as while it is a game you can reasonably finish in a single sitting, its lovely visuals, soothing audio, and greatly satisfying gameplay of cleaning up bodies of water hit all the right points for me. It stumbles with its finale and finicky gathering up of floating bottles, but those are small hitches in an otherwise pleasant experience. Spilled! has you in the role of a cleanup boat that cleans local waters from the byproducts and oils left behind by a polluting industry, going from area to area after cleaning up most of the mess. Initially, this is done by steering the boat's brush to soak up spilled oil, and once full, dropping it off at a recycling vessel. This earns you money that can be cashed in for upgrades: speed upgrades let you maneuver the boat faster, brush size increases the area you can clean at once, ...

Not recommending this video-game based entirely on personal gripes. 1) The video-game is extremely short (barely 45 minutes) and is only padded by the damn plastic bottles floating which are hard to round up and bring together at once to the recycling barge. 2) The only two upgrades worthy of our limited ressources are the "vaccum" size and the container, because the speed upgrade feels completely useless throughout the entire gameplay even at its maximum level so why even bother making such upgrade available? 3) The message delivered by the video-game is... questionable to say the least. The water gets polluted by boats relying on Diesel engines which are leaking fuel and you chase them to clean up their mess. I assume the video-game's message might be "ecology good" because your boat is powered by solar panels compared to our opponents. 4) My issue is that, by cleaning up their mess you gain an awful lot of money so does that imply that ecology is also a profitable endeavour that...

Pretty chill, but needs more levels, challenges, and a livelier world

This game is a breath of fresh air (or a sip of fresh water? … let it go) with its pleasant, non-violent, and inspiring nature. Its only flaw is that it's too short. I demand procedural level generation, by a DLC! :D

Saving the ocean from pollution by sinking the big bad ship into it and, therefore, polluting it. 10/10

It took 54 mins to complete with all achievements & for the price it was well worth it to decompress. Lovely short games like this should be praised more.
