https://youtu.be/qZ1IXKUkn68 Very hollow game, "WAY over priced" for what's delivered. you'll get the same enemies over and over with no map, no menu, no story, no interactions with anyone or thing. just a constant reparative Dungun crawler. each level gets bigger with more enemies (which all look the same, no Bosses or anything like that, just the same enemies in 4 different colors) they hit harder each level until it's 2 hits to die with less ammo and health as you progress. it was fun for a bit but the lack of direction makes the bigger levels hard to navigate and the lack of diversity in enemies makes the gameplay boring. even at $1.99 I'd still feel disappointed. It's just not fun. (I'm sorry to the Dev, but I have to be honest)

About This Game
This is a SOLO project done by Scott Craighead to bring you...
RETRO themed gameplay.. Made to Emulate games from the 1990-2000's in terms of design, animation and functionality. This also doesn't pander to any modern sensibilities. It's made to be an OLD game in every way besides visuals. I have dumbed down the difficulty because some people just don't have what it takes.
MOVEMENT SHOOTER You need to scheme or jump then dash to dodge. If you stand there like a bump on a log. You will die. There is no regenerative health. So when you make a mistake. You actually make a mistake. This will prepare you for real life and give you a preferred balance in life.
MANUAL SAVES because there is no autosave. No checkpoints. YOU save the game when you want. You must have the mental capacity to save your game at your own will. Okay?
STORY ARC is mostly in the background. Made to be a retro game with very very little story but with one encompassing goal. It's not going to have lore sprinkled throughout. This game isn't a book! When you go out and journey into the real world.... Do you find lore papers throughout? No! The locations have titles use them as guidance. It's environmental story telling.. If you have no imagination then this game is not for you.... perhaps you could try using spreadsheets or predicting the cheese stock market instead. Just know that if you are here for an adventure and experiencing something different then this is for you! Otherwise let me know about that stock market with various cheeses will you? I'm looking to invest in lucrative things.

ENEMY TYPES 7 Different enemy types with various creative weapons for you to survive and endure. Please look at them up above. Please use your eyes. This is important! You see how they all look similar? You see how they have different backings and different colors? You see the words above them? These are the enemy types! Know them well! Know this very thing before you purchase the game so you are not overcome with shock during playing.
NO WAYPOINT CHASING No map. No Inventory screen. No crafting. None of that. You're not a child. I don't need to hold your hand. You can DO IT! Don't even get me started on crafting. My games will never ever have crafting. If you do need these things... well this game is not for you. Please move along.
ATOMSPHERIC locations to give areas a different breathe of life. You are taking a journey to the center of the earth after all. You may see dirt more than once. You may see more than one rock. I know this is hard to believe. Just know that locations have different themes and these themes are based on the book of genesis and creation. I want you to be aware that you may very well stumble upon a repeat rock or dirt texture. This is very important to be upfront about in the gaming community. Yes; it is all very real! *GASP*
5 CREATIVE magical weapons that is powered by remnants of creation. Plus a backup mace which should only be used on low level enemies or if you are simply out of ammo. If you take a mace to a shotgun and you die. This is because you have brought a knife to a gun fight. Think McFly THINK!

RENDERED in Unreal Engine 5.1 for cutting edge visuals with an abstract flair.
DIFFICULTIES 3 Different settings Easy, Normal and Very Hard.
OPTIMIZIED through and through for a beautiful frame rate.
The Unreal Engine 5 console is Unlocked for those who like to poke around.

Very boring game that drags on longer than it should. The plot is not reflected in the actual game whatsoever. Each level is just either a labyrinth, or a long hallway. All you do is run down the hallway, kill enemies, rinse, repeat. Attacks are very hit-or-miss. Sometimes enemies die, sometimes they don't. There's no feedback as to what actually causes them to die vs not dying. In the first area of the game there is a "secret area" that claims you will probably die, but is actually one of the easier segments. At the end of this segment you get the best weapon in the game which trivializes everything else. The actual weapons are terrible, and not fun. A lot of the environments are extremely dark, and colors are not consistent between levels. The movement speed is very slow and you do not have any way to speed up, only dash. And all the levels feel about 50% longer than they need to be, and most of it is just literally running. This just is not a fun game. Sorry. It's a long s...
Setting: Scott Craighead's boardroom. Sweaty imaginary developers crowd around a table. ENTER: Craig. Craig: Alright boys, I've got good news: I'm going to cook-up the "Most Insane Designed Dungeon of All Time". But, we still need some kind of threat, some unique enemies! and we need to make it SNAPPY!. I've snorted all the coke I had in my office and my dealer is caught in traffic, so I have precisely f' all. I need IDEAS, people! IDEAS!! Imaginary Developer 1, puffing on a joint: Well, let's grab those annoying floating fire atronachs from SKYRIM... but have them walking! zones the f' out Craig: I like it, but it needs more ZAZZ! Imaginary Developer 2, constantly twitching, whining: We... We... We should probably add more than just atronachs from Skyrim... Craig: slaps Imaginary Developer 2 Get yourself together, you blubbering twit! Imaginary Developer 2 faints Imaginary Developer 3: I got it! Don't slap me! We can make tons of 'multicolored' versions of the atronachs from Sk...
A blast from the past but new and fresh.. only a couple levels in but enjoying it!
Wow. This is a tour de force of some of the worst possible design choices. No way to aim your weapons? Check! Shotgun-type weapons with impossibly bad spreads? Check! One enemy model for everything? Check! More walking than a walking simulator? Check! Darkness everywhere? Check! Enemies that are undodgeable and take off huge chunks when they're not braindead and easy to pick off? Check! Ugly backgrounds? Check! Total lack of boss fights? Check! No story to speak of whatsoever? Check! TEN ****ING GB TO INSTALL A ONE-HOUR GAME?! Check. There is nothing good about this game unless you are absolutely obsessed with Doom-style shooters and will play anything in that genre, good or bad. The difficulty is a cakewalk unless you get hit by one of those BS bouncing fireball grenades for half your health, and you're just stuck doing a bunch of walking and not really facing any other challenge. Avoid.
The game is unique and fun. It plays smoothly. you'll have 6 weapons by the end of the game that you can choose from. It has a unique atmosphere that I enjoyed playing. It took me less than 3 hours to finish it on very hard difficulty, although I believe you can finish it in 2 hours if you want to speedrun though it. you can watch the gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gq5DQa8Orw
Without a doubt Pitch Silent is the greatest game to release since 2012. Among other things, the game perfectly encapsulates the heavy christian theme-ing that I absolutely love about craigian style games. Not only that but the game tells a story unlike any seen by contemporary pieces of triple A media, such as the Last Of Us. The gameplay itself is remenicent of fast pace shooters, while still abiding by the laws of a dungeon crawler. I look forward to seeing the sequel teased throughout the game, which will be titled (as all pitch silent fans know) Pitch Perfect.
Cool presentation with the enviroments. Movment feels good. And enemy design is great. The game give a very nostalgic feeling of PS2 era FPS games.
Rather simple and barebones, yet quite atmospheric old school style movement focused fps. You are some kind of mage and your weapons are mace and different types of crystal balls that shoot ranged magics. Provides intense gameplay with couple surreal scenes that were really nice addition. For less than 2e it's not bad experience at all.
To be blunt, this game is a poor man's Amid Evil. I don't want to come off as overly negative since this was made by one guy and it's only a few bucks (and I'm guessing it's his first game), but it comes off as very lackluster and missing so much potential. For starters, you're not given any clue on what you're doing and why. We never learn who, or what, you are, where you are, what you're fighting, and how you can use all the magic powers you gain. There's some sporadic Christian imagery here and there and a few quotes from scripture, but nothing else really. Honestly, the levels quickly started to feel random and nonsensical the further along I played. You'll be in a cave one level, the moon in another, than some ruins, and eventually a block-filled void that seems reminiscent of Superhot. None of it connects in a meaningful way. The developer's game description (which comes off as rather hostile and defensive, by the way) seems to justify this lack of plot as "environmental storyte...
