About This Game

You were on your way home one day when you realised the train was stopping at the same station over, and over again... at least you thought they were all the same station...

Taking elements from Exit 8 and I'm On Observation Duty, Anomaly Exit fuses the spot-the-difference genre with psychological horror. Additionally, the experience is designed with singleplayer and multiplayer in mind.

GAMEPLAY
- You only need to find one normal station to escape.

- If the station is as you remembered, exit the station, or else get back on the train.

- Take your time, remember the station... and don't forget it... something lurks in the tunnels...

- Hidden in plain sight. The anomalies are not subtle, but you need to pay attention.

- The station is small, but the anomalies are random and numerous.

- No cheap jumpscares. As long as you're paying attention of course...

- But you need to stay alert, avoid any strange beings in the stations, and avoid... the Anomaly Exit!

CO-OP MULTIPLAYER
The station is scary on your own, so team up with other passengers to try and help to remember your way out of the station together! Or you can go your separate ways, and see who makes it out alive.

PROXIMITY VOICE CHAT
Keep your fellow passengers in shouting distance, or you won't know what may happen to them in the other room...

This is a memory based game. So take your time, be patient, no quick reflexes required.
A headset is highly recommended!
Average playtime: 0.5 to 1.5 hours.

Amazing anomaly game, better than most other ones that followed the success of exit 8. It runs smooth, has a nice combination of harder and easier anomalies with some jumpscares/scary stuff in it. I will assume the multiplayer mode is a nice addition as I only played this in singleplayer. Besides that, I think the game is not too easy and not too hard, but leaning a bit more to the harder side with some trial and error going on. My only 2 real complain is how long it can last between finding an anomaly, walking back, then waiting for the train to leave. And that you are guaranteed to have anomalies for like the first 7 stations. This kinda makes it feel a bit less quick? Since you dont really have the 'luck' of finishing in 1 station or maybe even 2. But overall a good game for people who enjoy anomaly games. Can recommend!

It's a great first game. I love the tagging aspect and quick transitions between levels. It's a decent challenge - not too hard to find everything if you've played this sort of game before, and the levels are a perfect size. Seeing as how it has a multiplayer aspect - I would love to get a hold of the source code so I could add my own contributions for my mates to enjoy as I am a modder myself. Pity it hasn't been made public for this use as it would be perfect to get together with your friends and challenge them with your own anomalies.

The Game is good so far and very scary if you play for the first time. Sadly there arent enough additions to the game that makes it scary again

This game is all around good. It runs fairly well, has some decent scares and the game itself looks really good. Only slight changes I'd suggest would be making some anomalies slightly more obvious as well as making more of the anomalies/creatures an actual threat to the player. I shouldn't be able to walk right up to any of them, I mean I was grinding on that skinny guy in Promenade like an Amsterdam stripper and he just sat there and took it, which removes some of the scare factor. Not to mention some of the achievements require you to die to certain anomalies, but that can be hard to do for a casual player since the anomalies can hardly keep up. Overall however it's a fun game, especially with friends, and I'd recommend it. 6.8/10
