About This Game

The long-standing 7 Wonders series keeps getting better and better! The fifth installment, 7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover, adds an entirely new game component, new Wonders and a new and exciting material – Alien Energy!
The goal is still to construct exciting new Wonders by swapping same-colored runes to make matches of three or more to the tune of exploding bonuses. Make enough matches before time runs out to fill your arsenal with power-ups and the materials needed to complete your Wonders before your very eyes! As you complete each game board, bricks, water, gems, landscape, and now – Alien Energy! Excel and face bonus levels that take you deep below the earth’s surface to win materials like gold to adorn your Wonders! There is also, for the first time, a secondary game component to build a village! Mini-games rewards players with buildings and decorations to create their own village. Build all 7 Wonders and then unlock a magical 8th location, Nazca Valley! New game play and new Wonders await in Ancient Alien Makeover!

Key Features:

  • 56+ addictive and challenging levels
  • Expanded play field
  • New “alien energy” construction material!
  • New village component
  • 4 difficulty modes including “Zen” which has no timer.
  • Players earn a star rating for the completion of any Wonder. There is replay value to improving the star rating from a 2 to a 4 because it will lead to unlocking the Bonus Wonder and more things to decorate the village.
  • Players can earn a wide variety of achievements which are displayed in a trophy room.

This game is really addicting, fun, and challenging! There are mini-games to play, goals to meet, and time to beat. But there is a Zen mode also. I think it's worth the money! I bought all the games from Mumbo Jumbo which includes Toy Soldiers, Luxor, Midnight Mysteries, Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, Glowfish and every game made by them is remarkably enjoyable and heartwarming. I do hope they keep coming up with such colorful games. If you love matchmaking and match-3 games like bejeweled or candy crush, there's no doubt you are going to dance in joy once you play this one.

Fun game, but kind of laggy on Windows 10. 8/10.

Great little addition to the 7 Wonders puzzles. Fun time waster with levels ranging from zen to insane so you can choose your challenge. Steam achievements as an added bonus. 92:100

Going to keep this brief: If you are on AMD cards BEWARE this game runs like molasses. It is a complete LAGFEST! If you are on STEAM DECK: If you like the genre and it's on sale, get it, it runs great! If you are on NVIDIA cards: same as with SteamDeck the game works fine. Overall this is a do not recommend as the game will only run on certain configs. Would have been a recommend if it was working properly. Update -- This seems to be working fine now on my AMD rig. Not sure if there was an update to the game or the drivers but it is in fact working properly now.

You cannot erase your saved game and re-start. 7W:AAM has no replay value. Had I know that I would not bought it.

If you like match 3 games, this is pretty good. Basically same as Simplz Zoo, except with a world wonder theme. Good powerups and extra elements to match on the board like resources and background tiles. Pretty addictive little distraction.

Just beat the game. Fun casual times to be had. It's like most every other match-3 game. The twist is the background behind the gems you match gets removed and falls to the bottom of the screen where little people below use it as raw materials for building wonders. I believe I got it when it was on sale. The graphics are quite a step up from the older 7 Wonders game I played. In the hub world it appears as if there are many things to do as far as buying and arranging buildings. Unfortunately all but two or three of them are just decorations. If you find it on sale and like match-3 games.. I say go for it.

Match 3 gameplay with a bunch of extra modes AND the dose of crazy I can only get from Ancient Aliens and its rogue archaeology? Sign me up! I love using my tiny Aztecians to reshape the world with a shapechanging, mobile village. Also our cities are made out of gold. Eat a dick, SimCity, aliens got all kinds of a bling advantage over you. Cities XL? More like Cities That Smell.
