It took me some time to decide how to rate this. As always, Steam should really move to a 10 or 5 star system. Yes or No isn't good enough. I think No's should be reserved for truly bad games, and not just experiences that under deliver. So I'm recommending this, but read on for more context. I think CraftCraft tried to toe the line between a high-stakes, barely scraping by feel of something like Papers Please; while also attempting to be a zero-stakes cozy game, and I'm not sure it works. I kept waiting for a timer to be introduced, and characters kept saying "Wow, that was fast!" like I got something done exceptionally quick. It makes me wonder if the game was built with a timer in mind, but it was removed later. I think it would benefit from a timer to add a little more pressure. The game has a lot of material you don't have to engage with almost at all. That might be expected or desired in a huge open world game, but this was a tight 6 hour experience. You usually only n...

This game rocks. I thought it was so much fun, and I love the voice acting and writing. Character customization is also not something I care about often, but I loved this game's version of it. The flexibility in completing the different commissions was really nice and made it a lot of fun. I do wish there was a way to check which metals could be used for each craft BEFORE I bought the ingots, though I can also understand that being a specifically designed challenge that makes you use your brain. I do, however, think the game would benefit from more options for keybinding and an actual list of the available controls somewhere in the settings. As a very dumb person, I forget what the controls to games are often and having a list available to reference is something I do A LOT. I think that would be a really useful quality-of-life addition to this game. But still, 10/10
Ill be honest only reason i chose 'no' is despite liking it a ton, i cannot get past the issues it has The game has a fun (but also surprisingly inconsistent....) artstyle, nice character designs and nice characters in general. crafting can be a bit clunky at times but its ultimately understandable (and unlike the demo sharpening minigame, the sharpening minigame is understandable) However, theres a massive issue currently and that is INTENSE LAG. For a game where you collect things to craft with later, it runs like dogshit if you have too many items. it gets to the point where even doing basic things like crafting and using the register is a pain in the ass. currently waiting for a fix before i pick the game up again.
The story is a bit short, and feels cut-off at the end in exchange for a not entirely satisfying finishing slideshow, but I cannot overstate enough how much I love this game (and perhaps that love is why i'm a little disappointed at the swift end!). The mechanics are responsive and fun, the gameplay loop is just varied enough to not get overwhelming or boring, the characters - both player and npc - are awesome, your decisions feel like they matter, and overall everything is very cozy. I would love to see a further fleshed-out story or additional chapters! Endless mode is a great step, but feels a little lifeless compared to the story mode (as generally is the way of post-game endless modes).
Yes
This game is very fun to play! The story line, Characters's voices, art style. Everything is so good. I simp this game so much lol. But 1 thing That is a problem to me. I don't know why When I play this game it's just too lag. At first When I play the Demo of this game there's no problem. When I buy full game and play day 1,2,3 it's still run smoothly. But After that it's just too Lag. really problematic when I have to collect the money tho. I think it's just my computer but Only this game that have this problem so I don't know T[]T
Pretty simple and fun to do. The main story ends quicker than you think, and then it goes to endless mode. Endless mode was definitely a smart thing to add, however it wasn't quite what I expected. Some requests in this game can be confusing and hard to do, but nothing too bad. You can tell the Devs really care about this game and want to see it improve. The main complaint I have is that i just wish you could do more. More main story orders, more romance exploration, maybe even more locations on the map. I likely won't be playing any more since I've finished the game, but I really do think the main story is worth a play at the very least if you like cute games with lots of customization options. Fun and short
I have very much enjoyed this cozy little crafting sim. For it being an indie game, they have put a remarkable amount of work into it with wonderful quality. Because it is still so new, it's not completely polished, yet, but the developers are very active in their players' community and constantly listening to feedback, working to improve the game. The story is multi-faceted and very rewarding. The characters are second-to-none. Almost the entire game is voiced by talented voice actors, and the art is phenomenal. And I could spend all day messing around in the character creation alone. Thank you, devs, for creating such a beautiful game!
it’s a cozy little game to play at the end of the day. charming characters, neat little crafting system and smithing mini game. hope to see more content for this game in the future, it’s a joy to play
An absolute classic. The moment you start liking a girl, she betrays you and goes, “Nothing personal, just business.” :DDD I actually enjoyed the game. It’s not a masterpiece neither narratively nor gameplay-wise. That one “twist” was cool, I guess. There are definitely some woke elements, but that didn’t stop me from being a profesional and craft for those characters too. There are a few bugs or “inaccuracies” when clicking on stuff, but nothing horible. Overall, I’d say it’s worth the money , but I really hope the devs come up with a "more meaningfull story" next time something more in the vein of "Death & Taxes".
