About This Game

Confront the Apocalypse!
  • Explore desolate locations once thriving with life, now deserted cause by the infestation. Get supplies you need in order to survive.
  • Beware the enemies lurking in the darkness, hidden in corners or behind unopened doors. There is always the risk of encountering your death.
  • The enemies do not stand still. They will spot the movement of survivors, then chase and grab them even when it is not their turn.

A Turn-based Combat focused on controlling the Battlefield.
  • 14+ types of various historical weapons are usable, each with their own unique skills.
  • Control the battlefield by pushing & pulling enemies or using various tools.
  • Use enemies’ sight and noise to trigger the battle on your terms. Throw a stone to attract attention or set up a barricade to prevent them from spotting us.

Rest in the Hideout
  • The Blacksmith will be the most important NPC in the camp. He can craft and disassemble your weapons which is the key to progression, along with making many essential tools.
  • The resources will get more and more scarce, so you will need more supplies than you can get in the battle.

This is a review for my experience when the Early Access first came out, and then when I came back to it a week ago. I first give the developers full marks for implementing player feedback and actively try to make the experience better. Now for my own personal experience. I believe the game has been "dumbed down" or made far more simple than when it first released. When I first played this it was REALLY freaking hard. The craziest, most difficult aspect, but at the same time one I loved, was the "horde chase mechanic". When you entered a level, after about 3 or 4 turns, a massive horde of undead would show up at the start of the area where you entered. So this would force you to not only push forward at a breakneck speed, you would have to shut doors, and throw up barricades to slow them down. It was a really adrenaline rush trying to get through the level but damn was it fun. The Manor level that closed out the Early Access was also so memorable. The way you where battling r...

its a good game! I just Clear Olivia's room. just make sure you do everything else because that's the end of the demo and it doesn't let you backtrack after. You simply load the last checkpoint before entering the room.

Pros - Fun TRPG, very ff tactics meets dark souls. Weapon crafting is fun and RNG for purples is always a good time. Good characters with specializations. Very fun concept, kept me engaged to the end. Cons - Being forced into combat mode when not actually discovered by monsters. (Doors especially) I know it's early access and I am an experienced TRPG player but it was quite short. Also, there was quite abit of the stuff in the trailer that wasn't in the actual game? Modifying weapons, crafting, Boss fights? Could be I am just excited for more!

I have to say this game is pretty enjoyable my only real complaint is sometimes the enemies are just too numerous but if thats the case I think the point is just to purify the memolith. Regardless the game is fairly enjoyable it takes some strategy if you really want to wipe out all the enemies per map. It doesnt seem like leaving and coming back will really help you clear the spot on the map if your looking to do so and are having issues it might be due to needing to take advantage of memory skills. Good game though. Thought I'd leave this review since the last one made was from months ago.

The game is fun, but the mechanics seem a bit lacking. There really isn't much of a sense of loss to the battles as if you lose 1 character it's just game over and you have to restart. I'd love to see a more "Darkest Dungeon" style where heroes are replaceable, their attributes vary, positive and negative buffs can change based on their battling outcomes... The stealth mechanics are interesting, and once you unlock the Dark Sister it makes clearing maps very simple. Some of the items feel very underwhelming. Repair kits are only good for 3-6 durability which is not a lot. They also can not stack so it takes up a lot of inventory space if try try to bring in more than 2 per run. The light pillars only take 2 turns to cleanse if you try to active it while enemies are still around. The initial click and then the following turn. I feel like it should be at least 3 turns to cleanse. Or maybe even make it a counter so that each hero that uses a turn to cleanse it ticks a counter of...
