I had fun with the game. Despite this, I SERIOUSLY want you to wait for a sale. I just wanna let you know my ass is NOT a game reviewer so expect not the best breakdowns in this review (occasional minor and mid spoilers ahead) Now thats out of the way, yes, there are some things I am not in favor overall but if you lower your expectations and have fun with friends and/or family, you will enjoy this. This game is mostly why I tried DBD so I wouldn't miss the million references it was about to show of the game (other than the fnaf collab), and i'm loving Dead by Daylight rn btw! Also before reading any further I played ts from the Supermassive Games side of the community if you couldn't tell, so my main motive to try this out was because it was a choice based game XD.
PACING
Anyways I like that they try to not make every chapter one of every SMG game start off at a very happy setting and joyful with just introducing the main cast in the morning then it goes till nighttime ...

1:- As a horror game fan ,the atmosphere is cool,The story of the game is good setting up the dead by daylight universe but incomplete 2:-disappointed with the ending the choices does not matter at all your choice only save characters does not change the endings of the game i played it 2 times where every one survives and one where every one dies but ending does not change and feels incomplete 3:-The Game is highly unoptimized even if you play on very low setting the game has severe FPS drop and bugs issue and i searched online for these issues but all fixes are fake on YouTube and google ,I tired every thing and devs never going to fix that its a abandoned game now released in 2024 and now its 2025 they never released any patch for this CRAPPY UNREAL ENGINE GAME { one one thing helps to decrease fps drop is changing display settings from 60 hz to 144 hz and played on medium settings} 4:-buy it on sale at 82% off only the standard edition is more than enough the curator mod gets u...

Obviously the game doesnt play like dbd at all despite having aspects of the game play in it. However, If you are into DBD LORE, totally grab this game. My wife and I had fun playing through it. A solid story with quite a few different paths to take. Dialogue choices that actually say what you select. Tons of neat dbd easter eggs. After playing it I feel like its CRIMINAL we dont have a lot of these characters in dbd. It was a good time. A play through will likely take around 5 hours if you are actually soaking everything in. Its meant to be played through a few times. You can also start from different parts of the game after you have gone thru if you just want to see what happens or start from a certain point. If you are only kind of interested or unsure, wait for a sale. I thought it was a good time and cant wait to run it back.

The Casting of Frank Stone is the wrost game Supermassive Games has ever made. The pacing is horrendous. It takes forever to get going, the characters are dumb as hell, its a nightmare to complete and overall its super forgetable. Who the fuck even is Frank Stone?! No even DbD fans have heard of that guy and to this day, he still isnt in DbD as a playable character. So Behaviour and Supermassive games thought after release, that this guy is so boring, he doesnt even serve as a killer LMAO. DbD fans probaly will think that it was cool to see the entity and none DbD fans are like ,,WTF is all this DbD related stuff, i donk understand anything'' So this game doesnt know who the target audience even is, kinda weird. You have a ton of slowly walking sections for hours before even the tinest bit of action happens and when it happens, you will laugh your ass off. Voice acting was good i guess? Face animations they still cant get right, espacially the eyes, and then it just ends after 7...

Was super excited for this game, unfortunately, found it to be borderline unplayable due to audio glitches, tried all my settings, nothing seems to do the trick.
