It was not the worst game, but I'm also not a huge fan. This has a lot of performance issues and involves a pretty frustrating gameplay loop of; Open door Find key Open door Find key The story was interesting, but playing all eight characters on slightly different variations of the same facility will wear you down quickly. It does not help that it is easy to miss the keys, either. Voice acting was good, and I liked the design of the monsters, but when it came to combat, it was very lacking. Melee combat consists of hitting the enemy 3 times, and then they die. There was a gore system, but I never saw any of it because enemies seemed incapable of damaging you. I understand that the rifle does less damage, so that you have more ammo, but it doesn't feel great from the player's perspective. Overall, it's okay, but absolutely not the gameplay you'd expect for £29.99

-- DON'T BUY THIS GAME -- I played the demo, I had hope for this game but they were quickly squashed. I thought the issues present in the demo would have been ironed out but it didn't happen. Performance isn't good, no borderless mode, no key rebinding, quite a lot of bugs to be honest and lacking a lot of polish. For example a lot of the footsteps sounds between characters who wear shoes or who are barefoot overlap, which doesn't make sense. A lot of audio files don't play properly, namely effort grunts: they're weirdly cut and out of place. When interacting with computers to read a file, there's no way to leave the computer without pressing escape but then it also opens the pause menu so we have to close it. And since the pause menu freezes the game for 2 seconds before appearing, it feels super janky on top of that.
