<| Overview |>
Hyper Shapes is a frenetic Boss Rush experience, where you get to face a variety of Bosses, all of which have their unique quirk/mechanic that differenciates them from one another. To face off against the dangers of the game, your character is accompanied by its trusty blue ball, which acts as a friendly projectile. Said projectile can be thrown when you get close enough to it, making you able to damage enemies and destroy certain enemy projectiles. If you like Flat Heroes and/or the combat of Titan Souls, I would recommend trying this game, as it gets a lot of its inspiration and ideas from those two games. Before going into what I liked and disliked, I would like to mention that Hyper Shapes is not the hardest Bullet Hell/Boss Rush you will find, but it can prove to be quite challenging at some specific points -I will go into more detail about this in the "What I disliked" section-. User Reviews
I love the concept of this game. This low graphic high mechanic boss rush. However the controls are clunky and there are not options at all.
I was expecting it to be like Just Shapes and Beats, but no, the controls are buggy and gameplay isn't even fun. It's just dodging and using left click to launch a ball, that's all. It's missing music.
Decent concept, absolutely horrendous controls (especially on pc, I know from experience it would not be hard at all to make the ball aim towards the mouse)
Fun game
Game was short and fun, not the hardest game out there but for $5 its definitely worth it. Developer might wanna do something like Escape Simulator where you release a DLC pack with a new set of bosses for us to purchase and play
I hate triangles almost as much as circles.
Short, but sweet
Worth it!
Kinda like low tech Titan Souls, 10/10
