This game is honestly a masterpiece of disappointment. It manages to show you what could be whilst providing you with what should not. A Viking simulator with the Assassins Creed title slapped on for marketability; it manages to sacrifice its viking aesthetic for the sake of implementing Assassins Creed mechanics. Mechanics that are never utilized or effectively integrated into a game based around a consequentially lackluster viking experience. It takes all of the desirable aspects of Origins and Odyssey (both games that I enjoyed and that actually introduced me to the series) and removes them in favor of retaining all of their flaws. No flow to combat, no rewards, no cohesive narrative, no sense of scale, and no replay-ability. Every aspect of the game-play experience feels meticulously designed to perpetuate a subtle, over-arching consensus of displeasure. This is honestly one of the few games that I can confidently say possesses no soul; it provides no incentive to suspend your...

The game is good works perfectly fine but please give it an offline mode, it's an amazing game sadly you Can't play it offline and its a shame I have been testing all the ac games on my steam deck and all work fine offline except for valhalla and syndicate, next I will try odyssey
Let me introduce you to Assassin's Creed: This Door Is Barred From The Other Side. You'll spend an eternity solving boring and repetitive puzzles just to get some lousy loot. I'm also so damn tired of hearing "pLeAsE ReDA tElL uS aNoTheR" every time I visit Ravensthorpe. To 100% this game and earn all the achievements has been the biggest test of my patience ever, and you honestly need to be on the spectrum to pull it off. Please, save yourself hundreds of hours of doing the same thing over and over again. I'm never opening this game again; I'd rather watch paint dry.
Shit combat boring parkour... the only good thing about this game is the setting and the character design is kinda cool
Not a good buy, very disappointed. Idk what is the purpose of the Ubisoft log-ins when i already bought this game on steam?
It's an okay game if you're not a hardcore fan of the first AC games. Not the best in the new ones but not the worst. Locations feel a bit repetitive and the cairn ones are a joke. The one who had that idea should be fired.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla ★★★★★★★⯨☆☆ [7.5/10] ☀︎
Intro When Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was announced, I instantly pre-purchased it, full of excitement. Sadly, it turned out to be a major letdown compared to both older Assassin’s Creed titles and the newer RPG-style entries. Norway was a strong starting point, with an atmosphere that pulled me in and brutal weapon choices that felt great to wield. Combat remains one of the game’s best features, allowing a variety of weapon setups. River Raids were an interesting new activity, but after a few runs, the burnout hit hard. England’s vast setting felt uninteresting, littered with senseless puzzles and collectables that rewarded nothing truly special. The main quest was weak, with repetitive “help the other kingdoms” arcs. Settlement customisation was underwhelming – if you’re going to add such a feature, it needs more depth. I spent around 300 hours fully completing the game. Mastery ...
So after 292 hours in game... After huge amount of grinfing... I can say I did not finish all achivements, I dont have all gear and I did not finish everything I would like. The world is masive with a lot of to do, bud at many points for nothing like useles... I personally hate 2 aspects in the game - the Cairns (those stones you make in pillars) and mastery challanges, because stones are usually bugged and cant be finished even with manuals on the internet and chalanges - because I am probably not that good in game (lol). By the story it is fine I gues not an ordinary generic one, but personal. It is long for me as a single player guy mostly this game took me in for about 2 months from when I bought it untill I have so little to finish I probably dont think I will procede to fully complete everything, I think it would take me at least 100 more hours. In the story you have to travell a lot whithout skipping but many times there were dialogues wich made a huge point in the game so i...
A decent vikings game, but very buggy overall. The world is very gray and cold (it's ok is england), but the worst thing is the same bugs from ac2 and the fact that an enemy can kill you in animation without the possibility to dodge the attack. It's worth the 14 bucks, but don't expect a game like rdr2 (also 14 bucks at sales)
Why can't you dismantle your gear in this game? What the hell were you thinking Ubisoft? How do you go from Odyssey where you can dismantle every piece of weapons and armor you obtain (besides the legendary items) to Shithalla where you can no longer dismantle your gear? Who on your team thought that was a good idea? I have to run around with a bunch of shit gear or store it in my boat. If I can give this game two thumbs down I would. Why change something that worked so well in your previous games. And to add one more thing, what is up with the endurance bar? Is this a soulsborne game? After 47 hours of play I found the game boring and repetitive. I don't like the contract system, the lack of weapons and gear early on is annoying. The story itself is boring too! I didn't care about what was going on.
