pretty much the same as the previous game except less content and they added "logistics." Logistics to the devs means you can't sell as much, you can't order organic anything, and barns/warehouses/silos don't auto fill. Instead you have to choose how much product you want in each and you can no longer sell directly from them. If your warehouse or whatever runs out, your animals will starve even if there's more somewhere else. It's stupid. No common sense is built into the game. If you want to sell, everything goes through the limited and crappy house storage, with no refrigeration. The devs should have looked for ways to make the game more enjoyable instead of more tedious. To top it off there's none of the liquor industries from before. No tourism, but who cares. nobody vacations at farms so that was dumb anyway. I don't know. It feels worse. It only looks slightly better than the previous game but the logistics makes me hate this game more than the previous. I do not recommend this. ...

Love it so Far. Its a VRAM Hungry Title.

Very unoptimized games with lots of hiccups. The previous title runs flawlessly on steam deck. This new rendition stutters with low fps and even gets stuck upon opening. I know it is not advertised for steam deck but neither is 21. Plus I have run much more demanding games without much trouble and there is no reason this shouldn’t perform decently. I even tried with lossless scaling and even then it will freeze. Again, this is one of the most unoptimized games I have tried to play. Do not recommend. Stick to the older title.

Overall, the game has a very addictive playing element to it, but there are some big frustrations. One thing it definitely lacks, or I can't seem to find, is any reference data, e.g. Wiki, etc, and it can get pretty frustrating to figure out how to plan your next steps. For example, until you actually BUILD a shed, you won't have any idea how many animals it will hold or how many workers it will take to manage it properly -- same goes for their upgrades. Another frustration is the resource transfer system. Warehouses/Barns/Silos only store items and can't sell anything directly from them. You have to wait for the resources to be transferred to the main house or a Logistics building -- and those are limited to 50k EACH as a unit overall, e.g. main house is 50k max and EACH Logistic building adds 50k to overall selling ability. Took me until my second year to figure that last point out and finally be able to sell 100k-plus harvests all in one shot. I get it, but it still could use...

Fun

i love it. i know this is a rehash of an older game but this is my first time playing it. after 29 hours i have 5 million in the bank and the farm is running very well. took a little while to learn some of the things i needed to do so the farm was operating well but thats part of learning this. if you are into this type of sim management game i highly recommend it if you havnt played this or other previous versions before.

Casual Farm/City builder. Like the concept bought it on a whim.
