PAIN: Below Sanity (Classic)

Like the name suggests, it's challenging and frustrating, but in the good kind of way. Accompanied by a great soundtrack and nice visuals, you are always motivated to complete the damned level.

PAIN: Below Sanity is a precision "platformer", if you can call it that, which is built to be as painful as possible (pretty obvious name choice). Its primary source of inspiration seems to be "The worlds hardest game". In PAIN you control a spaceship on a quest to leave the planet earth, and you have to go through a bunch of levels to get to the end. With the addition of power downs and space physics the game ensures a very high skill cap, motivating players to get better. The levels sometimes seem very sadistic but thats what makes PAIN, well PAIN. Overall this is a solid game worth the price for only 3 bucks as the average playtime is roughly, lets say 4 hours plus a lot of extra content after the main story (maybe adding to a total of 10 hours). It also features a very nice soundtrack fitting to the events of the game. It's not something for everyone but especially interesting for people who like beating hard challenges and who like the feeling of accomplishment after completion...
