Classic mindless deathmatch fun. Won my second match (I joined late on the first one) using my pro gamer fragging skills. Definitely recommend getting this along with the rest of the Quake games when they're on sale. 8/10
Cult Classic Fun, Gory, Mysterious journey into the strange and bloody universe. It is also a journey into the past, to the beginning of arena shooters. On Hardcore and Nightmare difficulty this game poses a challenge even for today standarts. Test yourself. p.s. Late night duels with Uriel on a foggy, gothic map, called "Fatal instinct", is an intimate experience you never knew you needed.

still the best arena fps
It's the grandfather of all multiplayer FPS's, without rankings, level ups, perks and other bs. Just raw in-and-out action, where only your skills matter a 100%. Get it play it, you won't regret it.
3.4 hours on record... probably 10,000x that. lot of nostalgic fun. one of the best 1v1 games ever made. the FFA isn't bad either.
