Dawn of Mages is a 3rd person multiplayer PvP arena with unique, yet familiar features:
● Complex and detailed maps (learn the features and plan along)
● Free targeting system (skills and training beat luck)
● Over 100 different builds (chosen before the game starts)
● Each spell is different (in terms of damage, debuffs or buffs on enemies)

There are 5 types of spells and 5 classes of spells (at launch), making every player you meet (and yourself) a different challenge.

Your build will consist of choosing 1 spell from each class for each type before the game starts.

Each player will have 5 types of spells:
Main: Long range bolt with low damage and mana cost
Close: Short range spell with high damage and mana cost
AoE: Medium Range spell, low to medium damage and mana cost
Deadeye: Unlimited range, with high damage and mana cost (usable only with “magical scope” - no “no scope snipe”)
Ultimate: Unique range to each class, highest damage and mana cost

For each type, there will be 5 available choices (5 classes of spells):
Fire: Lower damage, ignores shield
Ice: Lower damage, debuffs enemies (burns stamina)
Lightning: Highest damage, buffs enemies (refills stamina)
Poison: Average damage, part of the damage is over time and stacks
Void: Lowest Damage, heals your character (lifesteal)

Besides these, there are 2 actions universal to all characters:
Melee attack - punch: High damage, ignores shield, restores mana
Breach: Creates a gateway through most walls and props, with no mana cost, insta-kill and 30 seconds cooldown. Use it wisely, to escape, to ambush, to confuse, or anything you might think of, it’s your choice

Map features:
● Realistic props (if you can see through it, you can shoot through it)
● Scattered Power-Ups: Shards - Health, Mana, Shield, Speed and Damage
● Jumping Platforms - giving you a boost up in the air to kill your enemies from above

Game modes. Dawn of Mages will launch with Free For All mode and soon after, Team Deathmatch mode. As the game evolves, there will be new ones introduced as per the roadmap and the community feedback and wishes - Battle Royale, Capture the Flag, Last Man Standing, First Blood Wins. Or crazy ones, like Football. Ours and your imagination will be the limit.

Eyes to the future.

There will be account level, ranked play, stats and more. See Roadmap above.

NOTE: Dawn of Mages will NEVER become pay-to-win. The in-game marketplace will feature COSMETIC only items.

It's a cool little game and very impressive for a first game launch by these two developers. It DOES have AI that you can play against and all the spell effects are really flashy and cool to look at. The problem is that nobody is going to be playing it and playing against nothing but AI bots is going to get really old really fast I think. There just has to be more to a game like this than PvP killing each other. It needs more modes. Capture the Flag, Moving an item from one location to another or even a big PvP soccer game might be cool. I like it and the price is fair, but it's just not something engaging enough for me to play even two hours, much less enough time to get my cost per hour under a dollar per hour. RECOMMENDED... There's a lot of effort that went into this game, but sadly it just needs more... and ways to attract REAL players to battle against. It's a refund for me, but I respect what these devs have created here. I can definitely see a few friends having a g...

Dawn of Mages is a nice arena shooter (like Quake III Arena, Unreal Tournament etc...) with full bot support for solo play. I like it, it's fun to play. It's got that classic arena style gameplay that I love. Here is a video I made: https://youtu.be/9Glm-W8QYNk
