Go-Go Town! is a charming and surprisingly robust city-building simulation that blends cozy aesthetics with deep, satisfying gameplay mechanics. From the moment you take over as the mayor of a run-down town, you're met with a vibrant world full of personality, where every visual element—whether it’s the bouncy character models, colorful terrain, or whimsical animations—feels handcrafted to create an inviting and stress-free environment. The game draws clear inspiration from titles like Animal Crossing and My Time at Portia, but it manages to carve out its own identity with a heavy focus on automation, infrastructure development, and collaborative play. At its core, the gameplay loop begins simply enough: clear debris, gather basic resources, and start attracting tourists to breathe life back into the town. You begin by personally chopping wood, breaking rocks, and managing deliveries, which gives a satisfying sense of progression as you slowly transform an empty landscape into a...

About the Game
You’ve landed the dream job- mayor of a picturesque town rife with potential - congrats! The spec promised rolling hills & friendly locals.
What it DIDN’T mention was the crumbling economy, vacant homes, and the logistics system that is just mostly you.
In a hard hat. Sprinting between disasters.
BUILD AND EXPAND
Build and manage everything in your town, from the ground up. Plot out zoning, place buildings, subways, entice visitors to move in full time, hire workers, stock shops, automate pipelines - generally EVERYTHING to keep the town running, and making money.
AUTOMATE WITH INTENT
Assign workers, optimise supply chains, set-up logistics networks and watch your systems flourish. Will you be able to trust in your automated systems to keep things moving? Or will you be the Mayor of Micromanagement?
CHAOTIC CO-OP CAPITALISM
Play solo for ultimate control over your town, making every corner exactly to your liking. Or will you join forces with friends for total co-op chaos? As long as the profits continue rolling in, chaos can continue to reign. Just don’t spend all that time running each other over.
MODULAR CUSTOMISATION
Tailor each business, industry zone and building configuration to suit your wants and needs. And of course, as mayor, you deserve a place to call home as much as your residents do. With some of the most immersive customisation options out there for your house, you can use the full 360° and colour picker to make sure that every single corner of your space is exactly how you want it.

i can not. figure out. a single thing. by myself. WHY IS NOTHING F****** EXPLAINED IN THIS GAME?????? I HAVE TO ASK THE INTERNET FOR HELP. EVERY. SINGLE. STEP. OF. THIS. GAME. THERE NEEDS TO BE WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY MORE EXPLANATION. I FEEL F******* S*****.
I bought this when it first dropped in early access, and I've played and replayed so many times. The gameplay loop is just so good, the controls feel so smooth, and the updates feel worthwhile.
A great early access game, lots of opportunity and it seems the devs have much planned which I'm looking forward to
great cosy game, i love all the mechanics in this game, especially with the major updates its been getting
I love it! super cozy and fun.
Was a bit hesitant to buy this game at first because of the goofy looking characters, but it's a really fun game. Chill atmosphere of the game and the non-demanding nature of the game makes it perfect for a lazy afternoon. My husband and I spent hours playing this together (which was surprising because it's not a game I would have expected him to enjoy) and I have spent hours playing it alone.
the game is fun, but initial excitement begins to peter out when attempting to unlock a new tech tree. Also the music loop is a bit short, so playing some of your own music or podcasts would be a better idea.
I'm surprised this game isn't more popular. It's a fun city builder with a bit of automation. Plus the split screen works perfectly. Maybe if it was actual online co-op it would get more sales but the game itself is brilliant. I love games that let you build but usually they fall flat with like decorations and such since nobody interacts with them. Don't get me wrong, decorations are cool but I like seeing the world interact with them. This game does a pretty good job of doing that. For it being early access, I was impressed how smooth it runs and did not experience any bugs. Try it out if you enjoy this genre of games.
The ultimate cozy game!! This game is fantastic. I can’t believe it’s been out for a while because the first I heard of it was during the Nintendo direct and just wanted to wishlist it here. I don’t understand how it never showed up in any cozy game searches because it crosses off everything for cozy game players. A mix between Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Rollercoaster Tycoon and a small bit of Satisfactory, after 30 hours I’ve only encountered one small bug that fixed itself when I closed and reopened the game. Crafting, automation, organization, exploring, building from the ground up, goals, challenges, management, it has everything that would make you think that there’s some stress involved but there isn’t. Missed a challenge? No big deal, try again. I am baffled why this game isn’t being played more, it’s way better than some of the AA and AAA stuff we have been paying $80+ for. My only warning is that it’s very, very addictive. I hope they continue with ...
