About This Game

In an age of myth and magic, ambitious wizards from around the world have assembled to undertake the perilous Trials of Legend in the Floating Lands. Many will try. Most will fail. Only those who have truly mastered the chaotic, shifting elemental forces of Arcana will become a Wizard of Legend!

Prepare to face an all-new series of unpredictably perilous trials in Wizard of Legend 2—the action-packed follow-up to the acclaimed dungeon-delving original, featuring vibrant new 3D visuals and fast-paced 4-player online co-op. Wield familiar and new Arcana, experiment with devious new spell combinations, and seek immortality as you return again and again (and again) to master ever-changing rogue-lite challenges.

Put your spellcraft skills to the test in the Floating Lands—a shifting sorcerous gauntlet conjured forth by Hieronymus, Lanova’s wizard supreme to find a wizard worthy of legend. Get to know the peculiar and powerful members of the wizarding council as they oversee, guide, or throw a twist into your trials.

Harness the power of familiar and new Arcana—attacks that tame the land’s magical chaotic forces into the form of fiery projectiles, magical melee strikes, swirling tempests, and more. Discover powers during your trial that change your Arcana (and your play) in unexpected ways. Mix, match, experiment, and master your favorite combinations…until you find a new favorite on your next run.

Command the raw aspects of fire, water, earth, lightning, air, and chaos. Upgrade your Arcana and equip fortune-changing Relics, adding new layers of possibility and potential. Focus on the raw damage of fire or the unbreakability of earth. Move quicker, sling Arcana faster, or seek balance as each trial demands.

Summon friends from around the world to face the trials in Wizard of Legend 2’s new, easy to get into co-op, and unleash magic’s full chaotic potential. Whether you choose to play as a party or go it alone, you’ll have a legendary time.

Each treacherous trial is unlike the last, and the odds are not in your favor. Learn from your predecessors’ failures through a persistent rogue-lite progression system that grants more arcane options to your next initiate. Each trial takes you one step closer to becoming the Wizard of Legend!

I don't want to be mean or rude, and putting aside the graphics and art, because what interests me is the gameplay, I have to admit that this game is unfortunately a failure! This game could have been so much more. I understand that the team isn't the same, and with respect to the current devs, they could have done a better job. The gameplay feels quite repetitive with no VALUABLE incentive to keep playing. Exploring the map doesn't bring anything important, so you get more relics that don't help much, and two more arcana spells to use throughout the run. After that, it's not worth exploring. So you just run as fast as you can to the next portal, because there's no point wasting time, killing mobs. The spells aren't good at all; there are very few, especially the signature ones. I don't understand why the dash has so many spells when they're the least important. You could have created spectacular and brutal arcana spells, but you just made them ridiculous. And Chaos arcana, why are...

Remember everything that made the first Wizard of Legend fun? Yeah, they tossed it out. No versus mode, barely any new spells, fewer relics, and removed mechanics like random stages every run. Player feedback? Ignored. Negative reviews? Silence. It’s almost impressive how they managed to take a beloved game and strip it down to something this forgettable.

This game is ultimately unfinished. There spell combos don't feel flashy or powerful, the chaos arcana aren't very good and the relics don't hit the same. It's an early access game that has lost alot of the magic of the original, and has been released in an unfinished/polished state. It's a shame the early access felt ok, but that is because there was the expectation of polish. I'm not saying don't buy it if you have to, but don't expect the magic of WoL1

Just play the first game. It has far better spells and relics, with more build variety. Maybe 2.0 will change it for the better but I'm not holding my (magical dragon's) breath here.

Cash-grab/Abandonware/Scam Bought out a great title and shat out this garbage to profit off of people hyped for Hades 2 right before it was out. Devs took a fantastic game, completely gutted it of it's charm, changed it's style and design completely, threw in 1/8th of the content the first game had, and shoehorned in god awful millennial humor voice actors. All they had to do was re-create the original with a graphical upgrade and co-op. Instead we got hades OCs slapped onto 6 total hours worth of content to enjoy before you hit something you've done before. Abysmal.
