I'm for artistic expression in games and allowing the boundaries to be pushed but, "Unleash your pent-up fury-" along with the devs history shows this isn't just artistic freedom, it's projection with a sprinkle of insecurity. This is not a game to show "very real transphobic violence many transgender people face for just existing" nor is this a game for healing trauma. It's a game the developer self inserted themselves in their fantasy of shooting people (women) up. The moment you boot up the game, you're greeted with a heavily photoshopped image of the developers face. The character you're playing as is clearly meant to be the same person as the developer; a self insert. There is no story in this game, aside from the Steam store description. The voice acting is GOD AWFUL and cringey. Autogynephilia fantasy simulator 2023. The entire objective of this game is to kill women. The swastika is replaced with XX. We all know what that means. Dev obviously hates women and this is his fantasy of killing feminists. Also, the game sucks. Choo-choo!

Woman Killing Simulator. Just call it Womanstein 3D, better title IMO. Its just a shitty Wolfenstein 3D knockoff but you kill women exclusively. The "OMG SO OFFENSIVE!" and provocative theme of the game is what intrigued me, but its honestly just window dressing to somebodys amateur game jam project. None of the Trans/TERF stuff is interesting or well done, again, its just a Female reskin of Nazis and that is really it, lame! It falls into the trap of many "So retro!" styled pixel art games where it clashes multiple styles without really imitating or being reminiscent of the thing its parodying. Sometimes it even uses god awful smoothing/blending filters on its pixels, why!? I always see those options in emulators and re releases of older games and think who the hell actually likes this crap? Well, these devs apparently. movement is slow for a retro clone/boomer shooter, the HP pickups only grants 1 HP, the Shotgun is on par with the shitty shotgun of Redneck Rampage, and the options are very limited, and also double hitting escape on the keyboard closes the game. I can tell it's made by one person, and that this is reminiscent of the indie games on the Xbox 360 era, but this feels more like an early access game than one deserving of a full release.

I bought this game thinking that it was something else. I installed the game and tried it. The game itself is unimpressive, even when compared with similar retro games. You can tell that this guy tossed this together with minimal game development skill. The real purpose of this game seems to be the a fantasy of attacking biological females and men of the clergy. The protagonist is really the one who should be wearing the Nazi uniform, not the targets. I regret giving my $5 to this nihilistic, hate-driven author. Live and learn, I guess.

If the roles were reversed most of the people complaining about this game would've just chalked it down as "edgy humor" The game itself is fine I suppose but it's clear that Sandra made this game as a way to vent

Male power fantasy

Would recommend if you don't have brain worms and are equipped with a functional sense of humor about it. It's a pretty faithful design study of Wolfenstein 3D, has tight controls, and is a decent experience for five bucks. Solid work for a first time release from a solo dev! If they don't get bullied out of the game dev space it'll be fun to see what they do next.
