The Ninja

Honestly, I bought this game as just a write off to play some time because it reminded me of the flash games I grew up with. I am not sure how many things you did yourself Anthony or what was used from the assets available to you, but this was a lot of fun! I am a big fan of the metroidvania genre and I can say your game had less annoying mechanics than some of the big studio produced games I've played. For instance, yes the bosses were a little jank BUT when I died after the boss, your check point was before the fight and I thought I'd have to fight him again, but I didn't! I was genuinely surprised cause OTHER games would make me fight the boss again possibly! The music stood out to me a lot and the character design of the ninja, I liked the art style in general a lot. Good side scroller with solid old school graphics. It is pretty easy to get the hang of until the first boss, and then it get a little tricky. I haven't gotten past that point yet, but then I also don't play games as often as I used to. I would like to see more titles from this designer.
