A Path to the Princess

This is a quick puzzle game where you have to find the right path in a maze, making sure to have the right number of balls to roll along to make it all the way to the princess at the end. I played this on PC which this isn't really optimized for. The controls are minimal, but buttons are mostly pathed for controller it seems. Easy enough to figure out though. Overall this seems like it would be a good mobile game. In single player mode, which is the only one I played, there are a couple of mechanics that just make it longer. For instance, levels are timed so if you look away for too long you will lose. Also, you only have 3 lives per run so if you lose you must start all over. The game does a good job of leaving you hearts along the way when you have to redo levels so you may end up having many more than 3 lives. The graphics are meh, but given the small number of credits listed that makes sense. There is a soundtrack that I didn't opt to listen to for long. Better to play your own...

Good concept, but lack of dev funding is painful to watch. Severely lacking in graphics, audio, and UI/UX polish. Also found a few bugs. Theming could use a complete overhaul. Princes standing on a changing stack of beach balls is so bizarre that you might as well go fully abstract. For less than a dollar, it's worth the 15 minutes completion time, but the above problems would prevent me from enjoying a longer experience. Kinda feels like something I'd find on Newgrounds.
