Hotel Galactic

I want to start off by saying I LOVE this game - however I have reached a point where I need to unfortunately stop playing it until the bugs are fixed. I understand this is early access and I really dont mind a few bugs but Iv reached a point in the story where the bugs have made it impossible to play and progress - workers disappearing permanently, workers refusing to do a task, poucy paw being stuck outside the hotel so not bringing or leaving with guests, potential guests not leaving when hotel is full and getting stuck in the lobby. I can only quit and restart so many times and even that isnt working anymore. Having said this I really hope this gets worked out and I can come back to game as I really would like to play it!

Wait a few months to buy this game. Pros: Incredible work overall, gorgeous art, cute designs, funny humor, silly voice acting (think Animal Crossing), and very addicting gameplay loop. Smooth balancing and upgrade/powerup goals that feel meaningful. Con: I literally cannot play the game - it's stuck on an infinite frozen loading page. Even though I want to play, there is no way to load a save file. And worse, the game has a very very slow (like 10 hour long) tutorial (way different than the demo) so starting over is simply not worth it! There were bugs leading up to where I'm at now, though they were admittedly small and not a huge deal to just "ignore for now because I know they're working on them." But now I have an infinite frozen loading screen laid over the game (which is still running in the background - I can hear things happening but I can't see it). I've reinstalled, repaired, etc. There are many reports in the Discord forums of people experiencing the same thing. Very ...

I'm so, so sad. That's the first thing I want to say. I started playing yesterday. Today, I literally woke up feeling happy because I just wanted to spend hours on this game, as if it were finally a reason to wake up and do something (I have some health problems)... I played for hours and, after reaching the 35th day, the game never loaded again. It is a very, very good game — something everyone should play. However, right now it is totally impossible to play it. I wasn’t sure about buying it since I knew it had a lot of bugs, but I did. Now, maybe I should have kept my money and kept waiting until it totally works, because for me it has been not only a waste of money, but also of excitement. Edit: I have been playing in sandbox mode and all I have to say is... why do you do an early access of a game that obviously is not well done neither finished. developer are trying hard to fix bugs but still bug everywhere. good game though.

The game's story is amazing and I love the aspect of it, but the game is too broken to play at the moment. I would say to hold off on buying.

I LOVE this game, unfortunately, there are so many bugs with it right now that it makes it so hard to play it. It is such a shame that such a cute game has so many issues. I understand it is still new, but as of right now, I would wait to get it till after it has been out for awhile so the bugs can be fixed.

Love the cosiness and zero-stakes game-play and art style, I can definitely spend several hours in this game! However the game is still full of bugs, and I've reached a point where I cannot progress in the story (can't find all the tablets in Ghosts of the Past, and somehow uprooted the little radish guy on Satori Island while it was already standing and deleted the character??) anyway I can't wait til it's fully functional because it's a super cute and lovely game overall.

*This is BETA/Early Access - if your rattled turned off by bugs. just wait for fixes/full launch* Apart from the bugs and the little issues that pop up here and there. ( I have hit a block by a bug that stops me from progressing atm ) This game gives me STRONG studio Ghibli, i love being able to run my own hotel. Manage the staff and decorate. so far i am thoroughly enjoying it - working through story atm. but also enjoying sandbox to give everything a go, while waiting for fixes/updates !
