About This Game

The Umbridge Estate is a 1-4 Player Co-Op Survival Horror Game like no other. Solve the riddles of the maze, read the notes of the people who came before you but most importantly… survive the horrors within.

"For anyone who comes after me, if you want to survive do exactly as I say. Don’t trust the statues, blink, and you’re dead. When you hear the growls of the bloodsucker don’t make a noise and if you hear a lullaby, run like hell." -JP

Yourself and up to 3 other friends have arrived at the Umbridge Estate. The goal of the game is to traverse the complex labyrinth while reading the stories left behind from others who have entered the maze. Complete the 4 scattered puzzles to collect the medals which unlock your only escape.

The Umbridge Estate aims to be a true psychological horror experience, including features such as player isolation, self-doubt, paranoia and much more.

While The Umbridge Estate can be played as a single player experience, for the best experience we recommend playing with friends and utilise the games built in proximity voice chat for the ultimate horror experience!

Okay first off i was super excited about this game. How ever it is super buggy. It has severe motion blur so if you get dizzy please stay away. It also is buggy when you die as you dont hear the monsters till after death. It is super hard on the pc as i have a Pretty decent computer that runs Cod and other games at 144 fps and this one tanked like 15-20 while streaming. I think it needs alot of fixes moving forward.

It's early days but it's a fun game. The maze in this is actually a proper maze and quite tricky, and the game has a good atmosphere. Most importantly the dev is really active and listens to the playerbase. Good game at this price point.

The game has an interesting story, good mechanics, and challenging puzzles. I personally dislike the simplicity of the art syle however I still found myself having a very fun time playing. Can't wait for the full release!

Promising start to the game. Great puzzles and a good bit of tension all the way through. Good stuff man!

Quite buggy, quite frustrating, "early access" for several years, bug report has been removed, not a great experience.

The idea isn't bad, I mean my friend and I got it since it seemed to be our sort of thing. While I understand it is a low costing game in early access means you wont be getting anything close to a triple A title, the bugs present during our gametime were weird or just irritating. When the game gets a full release I may revisit and change my opinion, till then I can't recommend this game.

The Umbridge Estate has a fair amount of bugs in it, but they're diminished by the game's charm and spooky atmosphere. Even in the starting areas, you never really feel safe. The haunting lullaby reaches just far enough to reduce you to jelly while still allowing you to do your tasks, and the growling creature will have your entire party literally walking on tip-toes. (And no, I didn't use "literally" wrong. The animation is silly and cute.) While this game is the opposite of polished, it's scary, exciting, and a lot of fun to play with friends. For $2, you'll get your money's worth if you get a few screams out of it.

This game should be free. First 20 minutes I glitched the game and beat it. It's like a demo, why is it $5?
