About This Game

Warning!

This game is currently in an unfinished state only buy it if you want to try it out.
I'm currently burnt out on working on this game right now, but I will continue development soon.

100% a fever dream.

This is a game I made for fun! Don't expect it to be the new top 10 games in the world.

This game is full of memes, this may or may not be the most effort I put into anything tbh.
made mostly for friends and family.

This game starts off in a village where you're really REALLY hungry, you decide that a banana would be the best choice of meal!
but sadly, and of course, the whole world is against you and your banana habit, and so your journey starts, you must go through the whole world and fight the
bosses and protectors of all bananas to get your hands on one.

This game has towns, dungeons, and a world map to explore!

Each area has its own set of monsters to fight.

If you encounter a monster like in RPG fashion, it's turn-based whoever has the most agility gets to go first, and some monsters can inflict status effects
to hinder your ability to do certain things, or you can inflict good status effects on yourself! same for the monsters.

when you level up, you can gain Abilities to do certain things, such as "Strong Attack" which increases the damage for your attack
but consumes TP (Toilet Paper)

Abilities need TP or MP to use them, TP is a renewable source that you gain from getting attacked, defending and ect, MP is gained only from potions.

As a person that makes games in rpg maker, i fell like this isn't the best one out there, now i don't want to go too hard on this game since it's prob made by a teen ager who wanted a quick buck. first thing that i don't like the way you get stuff in the game for example levels. i didn't play it too much and people will think i didn't give the game a good shot, but i just simply didn't quite like it (the game overall is kinda funny and i think you should make more!). the game feels a bit to bloated, i can tell there's a lot of plugins but it isn't necessary, a simple health bar and some visual changes would be enough, vlue's scripts like sleek gauges, sleek item popup, and enemy hp bars kinda help as they look sleek and are simple to customize. i think you should decrease the amount of enemies in the game to make it feel less bloated. also where fullscreen++??? i think that a script every vx ace game needs to have. overall, i like the game but there are few issues, from what i've read...

I am torn between a thumbs-up and a thumbs-down. If you dislike developers who put out an unfinished product without warning the consumers (call it early-access, beta, etc.), then it is a hard "no" for you. But if you don't mind spending a dollar just to have someone tell you a fever dream, then this is the game for you. In my first hour of game play, the juvenile memes and rumors made me smile and gave me the motivation to grind levels and see more. Then I ran into towns labeled "Work in Progress", which was almost a quit moment. But after I sneaked past the harder wilderness, snatched the
Weird Key
from the tower and survived the
softlock
, I just couldn't bring myself to be mad anymore. Yes, I am here to hear a fever dream and have a chuckle. Even in the game's unfinished state, it achieved that goal for me. But I do hope this game will be finished one day.
