Step into the game, call for a timeout, and replace your tired veterans with some young talented players to dunk on the other team, or ask them to defend the paint more tightly! Microtransactions in a text-based basketball simulator? Holy bologna, no thanks. $1.99 to have a star player join your team, $1.69 to get 3100 'training points' to hire coaches, etc. That might be okay if this game was f2p but it isn't. Gross.

-Dev explains that it doesn't generate as much revenue
-mods threaten to ban me? (huh?)
At the end of the day, if you want to play this game, just play the mobile app, the steam game has WAY less features then the mobile app, and it's free, but I would NOT recommend this game, even if it is fun, the dev seems to just worry about analytics and revenue made, the mods instantly escalate to banning someone the moment they disagree with someone

Well I have played this game A LOT on my smartphone (its been released there for some years) and I really like it. It's quite hard to find a solid basketball manager. This one might not reach the deepest parts of a sports management game, but it really has a nice flow and rewards you if you are able to read stats :-)
PROs:
- easy to learn, not too easy to master
- funny light storyline, starting when you are some time into the game
- grades are visible, but they are often quite misleading. The game rewards you for reading stats
- straightforward and satisfying gameplay with a nice flow (like the early sportsmanagement games had back in the days)
CONs:
- Graphic Style and optimisation is tailored for smartphones; i hope there will be an overhaul to group things better on the much bigger screen available.
- has even some stadium and minor team management, but there is not too much depth in it
- is lacking some better fort functions inside the game
