Trader of the Night

I'm a fan of this game. I've played all the I'm on Observation Duty games from the same dev, and purchased this one. Overall, it's pretty fun to play given the limited time I've played it. Jumpscares are non-existent, although it would be fun to add some mechanics to lock out the collectors at certain times to get more time to payback the debt. Early on, if you get an email saying it's over then you might as well quit and try again. I would suggest offering some sort of protection to buy time when a player is behind, then fail them later. My big criticism is there should be a lot more news articles to steer the player one way or the other. Most of the time I'm waiting for news to come in to influence my decisions. I would add more influential articles along with articles that are severely misleading with future updates. Great work! If you're into statistics and numbers, it's worth a play.

This is a neat game but its tough. You are rushed to make money or your night is just cut short and you get murdered. I like the learning curve so far and I've been getting better with each run. Its a neat concept and I like the atmosphere and weird news stories included in the game. I do think I'd like it better though if (at least on the lower difficulty) you actually had until 6 am to make the money. Why do they tell you 6 am is the deadline but if you aren't hustling enough they just send someone to kill you hours early?

Neat concept but it doesn't do very much to gameify the actual process of buying stocks and the whole thing is wrapped in a sheen of tryhard meme-ishness that's better suited to a high school freshman's Instagram than an ostensibly spooky game. If that's your thing, then have at it.

finished the game on normal difficulty in about 2 hours, definitely a neat concept but needs a lot more work in terms of gameplay and length. I love playing this when I lose money in the actual stock market every morning

This game proved to me that I'm incapable of playing the stock market, even if my life depended on it.

Fun little game. Not much of a horror game as much as an reading and paying attention game. There are no jumpscares (unless stokes rapidly falling or rising count) except for some knocking and when you fail the goals. It took me a while to figure out how to properly play, but when I finally figured it out, the achievements quickly followed. I'll probably keep the game installed to try and beat my personal bests, even though the game doesn't get harder and i have completed it in less then 10 hours. If you like to be a try-hard or really like quick reading comprehension and statistics then this might be the game for you.

Impressive. Very nice. Now let's see Paul Allen's horror-themed stock market simulator.
