I guess I'm going to spend a lot of time on this game, incredible F Zero clone, with new interesting mechanics, a true sens of gliding like in the old times (That 2D track...!!!)... Plus you don't have to participate the Nintendo ecosystem to access it, I would have been annoyed to need a Nintendo device to get whichever new installment of the series... And Now I can have it on PC... :) One thing though I wish there were better and more varied music, which is the only thing that's lacking in the game!!! It's a very important aspect in anti gravity racing that's been clearly left aside here!!!

About This Game
Core Gameplay
The Core Gameplay of Aero GPX is best described by touching upon a few of its most important aspects:
Responsive Handling and Controls
Aero GPX aims to be one of the most responsive racing experiences you've ever played; responding instantly to your input and reacting accordingly. Instead of feeling like you're driving the machine, Aero GPX aims to give the you the feeling of controlling the machine as if it were a character in an action game.Machine-to-Machine Combat
There is only one weapon in Aero GPX; your machine. Slam Attack and Spin Attack to disrupt or destroy your opponents before they do the same to you. But always remember that your attacks have an important consequence: the health and integrity of your own machine is at stake.Flight
Aero GPX has a big trick up its sleeve; flying at high speeds through Airborne Slipstreams. Machines can use a deadly homing attack in order to reliably attack an opponent, creatively maneuver to dodge obstacles, or take big risks "Drill Diving" in and out of them in order to build the most amount of speed possible!Merciless AI Opponents
Your fellow Pilots on the track are numerous and vicious. Displaying many different personality traits, they have ways of expressing themselves on the track that mostly result in getting to the finish line before you. Fight back if you dare.Anti-Gravity and Obstacles
Aero GPX features a complex physics system that allows for machines to drive on any surface in any orientation in 3D space. Tracks will also feature many jumps, challenges, and obstacles to keep pilots on their toes and always experiencing something new!Screenshots
User Reviews
Such precise controls. You can tell the dev put in time and attention to every tiny detail on how the vehicles move. It feels like I'm playing a game made by a scientist/surgeon. So Perfect. Just highly looking forward to ghosts in time trials to beat PBs.
Video Review TBD https://youtu.be/5ewqthPVG5s
Just Play The Demo
F-Zero is a top-notch, high-speed, no-holds-barred racing game, something that literally cannot be replicated in its entirety. The highly replayable tracks, the atmosphere, the gameplay, the challenge, every single note needs to be struck to emulate this sensation. Aero GPX nailed the narrator, the music, and the speed, but nothing else. It’s early access, and there isn’t a whole lot to the game compared to the demo. I played the demo for quite some time, eventually picked up the game, and was like… yeah, no. It’s almost as good as F-Zero, but seriously play the demo, save your money. It's the same. Sure, less maps, but I found myself more drawn to the demo, not b...
If you were looking for the definitive game to scratch that F-Zero: GX itch, look no further. This is it. Many other games have tried and found themselves somewhere between Wipeout and F-Zero. Aero GPX hits the nail on the head with the attention to speed and control, but with enough new mechanics to make it feel distinct. There's a good variety of tracks, each with their own 'gimmick', a roster of original characters with some clever nods you might recognize, and a soundtrack that captures that feeling of late 90's Nintendo racers. Give it a go.
I wonder when the two other parts of career mode will be made
Very satisfying gameplay for people who like zero g racing games like f-zero. Im excited to see where it goes
Nintendo wishes they could make a new F-Zero game that's as good as this.
I am a big fan of F-ZERO on N64 and FZERO GX on gamecube and this is great. The tracks are great, it feels like an improvement over F-ZERO GX on that aspect. The music for each track is also well chosen. The only negative point is that there is no online multiplayer, only local mutliplayer but who knows maybe one day we will get online multiplayer after all the success this game has had in the EA period. That is the 2 negative point, you don't know how long will really last the EA period but man I can't wait to see what the 1.0 version will offer because it is already entertaining. You get what you came for and that in itself is a great achievement when we are talking about one of the best racing video game franchise -> 9/10
very fun and pretty
If you are itching for a new F-ZERO GX FIX LIKE A CRACK ADDICT, THIS COMES VERY CLOSE! IT WONT GET THAT SPOT, BUT GETS THE JOB DONE LIKE A ONE NIGHT STAND
