Your progress is automatically saved, allowing you to contemplate the challenges for as long as you like. The game remains unaffected by the passage of real time.
Note that embracing the spirit of roguelikes, this is also a “permadeath” game, so if your hero falls, the game is over. However, if you enter the same adventure seed number, you can replay any adventure as many times as you want.
It's never just one of the “red, green, blue” endings. Each one is personal and unique!
