Genuinely a fantastic tower defense from what I've played. You control a drone so you can place extra damage in key locations. You also must manually pick up money, but you can invest in towers that do it for you (if you get lucky and get them as a reward option at the end of a wave). And there are a LOT of tower types to play with. I'd say its a mix of a traditional tower defense, with Insanequarium. Which is an excellent mix. Very well done and comfortable to play. I just don't know how to prevent enemies from damaging my door from a distance with projectiles. Still learning I guess. Overall, highly recommend, nice and comfy tower defense with fun mechanics.
A real indie TD gem! Tons of interesting towers and upgrades. One suggestion would be to show some sort of stats for towers on click/hover. After upgrading many times, would be nice to know what the current damage, fire rate, etc. is. Only issue I ran into is that the game crashes for me around wave 80 on endless mode. I had only just gotten the nightmare music box tower, so didn't get to enjoy it much. Or maybe I just need a new computer, building my new one today actually :)
Hallway Defender is a Rogue Lite Tower Defense Strategy game that places you, the last sane student in your school against all of the other quite insane students and faculty, Face wave after wave, boss after boss, until you can claim victory. I Highly recommend this. Video Review here: https://youtube.com/shorts/DP3OeSMJja8?feature=share
Definitely a lot more that initially meets the eye, particularly when you get into the upgrades. Good to get into a title that brings something different to the Tower Defense genre.
Really fun indie game with quite a bit of challenge for a tower defense due to the random elements. I really do like the different drones and upgrade system that unlocks more and more things so you can try something new every time you come back to the game. The ranged enemies especially make that you have to think ahead and use the ever expanding map and upgrades applying to all towers is quite fun because you can just spam them on one specific tower to make an OP turret until an enemy or boss perfectly adapted against it comes across and wrecks you Defo reccommend it for the current price as it really does stand out among other tower defenses I've played
