Experienced on the Meta Quest 3. VR REVIEW ONLY!
You can view my VR Gameplay here: https://youtu.be/olPiaLYS6yc Yes, you can play Dino Trauma in VR using the VR mod by Astien. You can find his VR mods listed on his Github. The mods are totally free, but you do have to join his friend's discord channel. This mod features full motion controller support! Yes, you can play in VR with 6DOF! There is no better way to play this game! The mod is as easy as downloading, then extracting, and then copying the contents to the game's folder. Also remember to turn off strafe turning in the game-settings! You may also want to increase X-axis and Y-axis for easier movement and turning. This game plays like those 90s boomer shooters you either love or you are ambivalent about! I liked it. My only complaint would be that I was getting 45 fps on my RTX 3080. The game needs to be better optimized! No reason why I shouldn't be getting a steady 90 FPS!! VR Rating 7.5/10.
I boug...

i'll leave a positive review because i want the game to do well, but i'm not ready to pay for it at this point. Idk if this was just my perceprtion but i expected the game to be scary. It's not for me. There are just too many enemies and they are to easy to kill for them to be scary. The level design seems a bit too functional to me. It's like you gotta do something in every room and the level design is very room-based. too many doors. idk it's just not for me i guess

I am a sucker for dinosaur action or horror and boomer shooters but this game is somehow a disappointment even in its early access state. There is somehow a variety of game modes, customizable weapons, some kind of leveling mechanism but I find the core lacking. Also if I check the road map the energy and resources is spent on the wrong things. More levels, weapons and dinos are irrelevant if the basic gunplay and fight feel bad. The animation of the enemies is very primitive. Most of the times I take damage without the enemy doing an attack animation. They don't flinch if they get hit and more often than not the death animation is skipped and from second to the next they switch into the lying death position without any intermediate death animation. They can also bite through closed doors and the enemy spawn behind you if you press a button or pull a lever is getting old and annoying very fast. This makes slow and deliberate but very boring game play. If I keep a distance no enemy is p...
