I decided to replay it after 10 years since I barely remembered anything about the game, but it turned out to be unplayable because of the infamous ‘magnets bug.’ I honestly have no idea how I managed to finish it back then.

About the Game
Daedalic Entertainment, once called “Lucasarts from Germany“ by the GameStar magazine, invites the players into a fantastic comedy adventure that revolves around a crazy love story of Rufus and Goal.In Deponia, the world has degenerated into a vast garbage dump, in which the crotchety Rufus ekes out his sorry existence. He is part of the lowest social class, doomed to live his life in literal mountains of trash. He hopes for an opportunity to get into the world of the rich, who live in a floating city high above the clouds. Fate seems to smile on the snotty good-for-nothing when one day the attractive lady named Goal from the higher sector plummets into one of the trash heaps. Rufus decides to help the young woman out by taking her back to her husband. When he notices that Goal's husband is a dead ringer for himself, he hatches a diabolical scheme to gain access to the upper world. However, things don't work out quite as planned, since he has feelings for the beauty which limits his usual unscrupulousness.
Help Rufus, the poor boy from the junkyard, to win over the girl from heaven. Only with this rich girl from his dreams he might be able to escape Deponia and, unexpectedly, to save the planet.

Great game! Haven't played it in years.
Part 1 of 4 in the Deponia series. When I first tried it, I started with the third entry Goodbye Deponia and rejected it in disgust. The main character felt way too stupid and unserious for me. Back then I was looking for more serious characters and story. I finally gave the series another try, starting at Part 1 the beginning and honestly it's a blast, I'm having so much fun with it. Deponia's all about that over the top silliness, driven largely by its obnoxiously stupid main character. The story is fun and silly but still grandiose. You'll get sucked in thanks to excellent voice acting, sound design and fitting musical scores, playing fun puzzles that reward out of the box thinking - you'll need to embrace the silliness, many of the solutions don't make logical sense but do actually click when you put on your silly-hat. I'm glad I gave this series another try, it's going to be memorable.
its nice
Itś genial
Currently replaying the series, so I figured I'd write reviews for them! This first game is so much fun. I love the characters and I love the story. Some of the puzzle solutions might require the use of a guide, but something like that has never bothered me. Sometimes you need a little extra help.
Game breaking bugs that won't let you proceed. For me in particular (and many other people) there are magnets that become unmovable at some point. Thus, not allowing you to proceed further with the game. It appears to be a well known and very old bug. The developers solution ever since it got first noticed? They provided save games and called it a day..... The audacity to still sell this. I feel scammed.
Funny, charming, and full of personality. The art is beautiful, Rufus is a lovable mess, and the puzzles, while sometimes odd, are satisfying to solve.
I cannot continue my progress due to a bug that exists for few years XD The bug is about the Magnets that cannot be moved and it is important to continue the adventure. I wanted to give it Positive review, but how can I give positive review while there is a bug that blocks my progress forever. BTW just search in Discussion Tab about this "Magnet Problem"
Deviam existir mais jogos point and click nesse estilo, é tão escasso e tão bom.
