Redemption Reapers

Shining Force for fans of Evanescence.

SRPGs are some of my favourite games. From Shining Force, Vandal Hearts, to the Fire Emblem franchise; these games always put a smile on my face on how they tackle the subgenre. Redemption Reapers piqued my interest once news was getting around about it. Outside of the game itself, hearing a veteran from Fire Emblem, Masayuki Horikawa, was involved made me even more interested. And with that, I dove in to see what this project had to offer. For one is the music which is truly stunning. I never found myself distracted by the music and thought it helped assist in the mood the game was going for. Whether a more bombastic song in the adventures of the Ashen Hawks or, further in, some much more melancholic, these tracks throughout all aid in the game throughout one's journey. Even outside of the game, the songs hold up well. The visuals are not bad. In-game, I think they're actually fairly well done. Very good gameplay but with some toooo long scenarios voice acting , sounds , music are very good Very likeable well written characters for some reason all cutscenes are broken for me , like 3FPS , and my PC can run anything well Game is very worthy if you have patience . It´s hard

Great tactical RPG, challenging enough to punish yolo'ing, but strategy pays off. The voices/animation is a little wonky, but that's probably translation dub issue. Gameplay, story, map, worldbuilding, and cutscenes are fluid, no hidden objects or visibility issues. They got the perfect mix of story + cutscene then fight. Movement/navigation actually has the best feel to it of all the tactical games i've ever played. For a sale it's a must play tactics fans and worth supporting devs that are doing many things right! Suggestions: maybe don't hard lock weapons to class, more silver ore drops in mid game, be more lenient on ranged height limitations (+1 vertical allowance would fix), add magic to next game please ;), I suspect versions have counteracted evasion (over 100 evasion should not get hit every time...). Its not the best game ever. There are some things that can be improved BUT time flew till now. It's just fun dark grim difficult and serious. Something strange going on here that has me wanting to play more. Totally recommened

To me this was a solid 6/10 game , if you ever played Lost Eidolons , is kind of similar , without the free roam , overall I had fun , wish there was an option to select previous turn , like maybe a limited option , instead of restarting the whole game if you make a mistake , but whatever , it's an ok game if you like tactical turn-based games , story was decent also.
