There's certainly room for a game like this: one of the sci-fi spaceship takes on the bullet heaven genre, with tons of meteors flying on the screen aside from the enemis as if it were Asteroids to further spice it up. It's however all played in a small single screen, and while the presence of missions is a nice touch, the weaponry is fairly uninspired, and with both enemies and asteroids going in a straight line, there's no crowd control whatsoever and it's all down to dodging and aiming. With "Survivors" in the name it's hard to avoid the comparisons to Vampire Survivors and many others, and the amount of content, variety and depth is just not on par with the competition either despite a similar price. It's fun enough for what it is, but it needs more. Bullet Heaven Fandom review #50. An odd game that starts out bland and then falls apart to something worse. Some skills are mostly useless, and one (magnet) is completely useless because you start sucking in all drops anyway. You don't seem to be allowed to feel powerful and the enemy will overwhelm you by shooting a lot. Also, the missiles are super dumb, and mostly just hurl themselves at rocks.

I love this game, but I can't recommend it. It's crashed on me twice when I was just about to beat it. Also, there's far less options than other games in the genre. It's also a little challenging for a while, not entirely because you're understandably underpowered at first, but also partly because it's a little unfair until you become overpowered. Some of the upgrades also don't do much and there's not many successful options for a build that will survive the entire game. What I like about it is the roguelite elements and setting, but honestly just go play Vampire Survivors, Brotato, Holocure, Halls of Torment, Scarlet Tower, Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde, etc instead.

this game is fun, and has decent potential, but you level up too slowly imo in the early game. also, it's unclear if these unlocks are cumulative, or have to happen in a single run, for example, kill 300 ships. additionally, healing doesnt seem to scale with max hp. With each level being so valuable, getting bad upgrades feels super punishing, and like youll never beat the difficulty curve. that said, despite playing for close to 3 hours, I've still only unlocked one weapon. I have a mission(unlock) where I need to fully level the fast reload skill. I dont have the fast reload skill unlocked, nor do i have a mission for it. edit: i managed to unlock fast reload, despite it not appearing in my missions anymore, and the game is now fun. imo this should be unlocked from the beginning. the game is a p decent roguelike bullet hell. nothing incredibly special or innovative, but a good time at a good price

Andromeda Survivors was my first entry in those "vampire survivors-like" games, so, naturally i was very anxious to know what the genre was all about. Turns out that it is very cool, this game gave me everything that i was waiting for. You control a spaceship that can move and shoot, you can't leave the space where you are, and you get experience points every time you kill or destroy a enemy/asteroid. This way you can level up and get new abilities and skills. Every playthrough starts from scratch, but you can use a type of currency to upgrade certain things permanently Because of that, everytime you play, you are stronger and can use new unlocked skills. It's awesome how addictive the game can turn to be. Some of the skills/abilities that you can get are kinda of useless sometimes, so, that's the only thing that i can think of as something bad in the game. Great game in general.

This game is so simple and yet so addicting. "Just one more run" my head says. Give it a try already.

This game doesn't make you wanna play another round. I really have to push myself to play enough to get to another upgrade. Which in the end, hardly matter since they only have a few(2 or 3) levels. Also, melee? On a spaceship?

Recommend for a game to pass the time on a short trip, like on a train or plane. +Dopamine producing gameplay. -No interesting hook/longevity. A glorified browser game.
