"I simulate Tokyo salaryman. You make no money cus everyone live to 110 year old and then you take your own life. Game cost 20 buck... real good. Game cost 20 buck, real good." I did fact check, it is a game that costs 20 bucks and is real good.

I set up a "residents wanted!" sign on my town. I spend gold to hire a maid NPC before going to town and buying a pig from an animal tamer. Coming back, I set the pig to do my cleaning and the maid to be livestock because the game has no programming to recognize the difference between humans, animals, and monsters - they all have the same stats, hobbies, jobs, and even dialogue. (Nothing like a pig shouting "The time has come for us humans to prosper!") The game also doesn't understand what gender is, either, because the maid is a male and as livestock is laying eggs so I can have a fresh maid egg omelette every morning, which boosts my learning potential so I can read more eldritch arcane tomes and finally learn the meteor spell so I can speed-fry more eggs. If getting eggs from males bothers you, don't worry, the local drug dealer sells hormone drugs that you can toss at people to instantly change their gender, sometimes to the mysterious "???" gender. Male Loytel was annoying, ...
To sum this game up. * I managed to get "Epic Gay" as a character title. * My father is a woman. * A level 6 turkey kicked my ass few seconds after spawning.
Serious potential but it's not there yet. Elin is an amazing idea for a game with great character customisation options. However there's only 1 really viable strategy in the entire game and if you aren't doing some variation of that strategy you won't be able to keep up with the end game. The strategy is basically: Pick farmer, make money fishing and making wine. Level up crops to max out your stats. Now I really don't want to see them nerf this strat, I think a lot of the end game content assumes you're running this strat. What I want to see is different strats being buffed to become as strong as this strat. Like a monster breeding strat where you breed two monsters with high stats together to increase the base stats of the child. Making an army of high stat monsters of any kind eventually. I adore that farming seed levelling systems, it takes me back to the early days of 7 days to die. But there needs to be more ways to raise your stats as viably as eating. This game basically fee...
I have never enjoyed something I've died so often in, nor understood so little. This is why games are art, and I love that it feels like a puzzle that as I learn how it works increases my progress.
If you're like me, you like an open world and randomized content and essentially unlimited leveling and use-based skill improvement, then like me, you were always going to like this game. My only question is, why aren't there more games with these game mechanics? I hope that the developers will go way beyond the previous game Elona, with much more content and many more interesting game mechanics! Please!
Dear game developer, make it possible to invite friends to your world and add new characters to the created world.
I've tried very hard to play this game. I want to enjoy it and discover all that it has to offer but holly shit this game is hard and complicated af.
You know those anime that are game based, that seem liked it be so much fun as a real game, but they just dont exists? One with dungeon crawling and finding rare weapons, exploring the world. building a reputation, forming your own town. Taming your own monsters, and becoming slowly op? This game has it all and even more, theres so much you can do in this game, it cant compare to most other modern day games. It almost fees like a love letter to me. Its not your everday jrpg. This feels like an openworld mixed with rimworld, stardew valley, and dungeon crawling. This scratches that itch that ive find trying to find in a video game for an absurdly long time,
A special type of game, Rimworld mix with Dwarf Fortress adventure mode. This is definitely a must buy if you're a fan of traditional roguelike games.
