About This Game

RABBIT & STEEL is a co-op action "raiding" roguelike focused around fighting challenging bosses alongside your rabbit-eared friends. Fight foes, gather loot, build your character, and work together to overcome obstacles on your way to the Moonlit Pinnacle.

Combat is deliberately similar to tab-target MMORPGs, being based around global cooldowns, effective skill usage, gear effects, and resolving boss mechanics through teamwork.

This isn't an MMO, though; it's a roguelike!

Start a run, pick a class, invite friends to your lobby and you're raiding in seconds. Anywhere from 1 to 4 rabbits can embark together. If you venture out alone, mechanics that normally require cooperation will be replaced with intense bullet hell attacks.

Of course, it isn't always as simple as slapping down the enemies that stand in your way. Building your character with loot and upgrades you find along the way is key to success. Certain sets of items combo very well together... so make sure your allies don't roll on something you really need!

A few months ago, all contact with the Moonlit Kingdom was lost.
Reports indicate that the city's denizens attack outsiders on sight.
Investigative expeditions are repelled or go missing.
A colossal white tower now manifests in the city's center each night, stretching skyward towards the stars.
Something must be done. The rabbits will take care of this.
The night is short. Move swiftly.

 • Up to 4 players can play together locally, online, or a mix of the two
 • A plethora of bosses, stages, and challenging bullet-hell patterns to conquer
 • A single player story campaign where you chat up your enemies to uncover the mystery of the Moonlit Kingdom
 • Over 100 random loot items to power up your character
 • You can kill your friend by clipping them with a "spread" marker for laughs
 • Honestly they deserve it for rolling on the Darkstorm Knife even though they don't need it and it's SO good for your class
 • Supports playing with keyboard, mouse+keyboard, or with a controller

TL;DR: Splendid game. Great mechanics and interesting rogue elements to keep each run different enough to stay engaging. Big recommendation. Rabbit and Steel basically the core experience of MMO raiding but without the annoying grind behind it. The game has roguelike elements as in you obtain Loot with certain effects at fixed points aswell as being able to purchase upgrades to your skills at the shop which is located at the start of each stage. You start out with 5 different classes of rabbit and can unlock up to 4 later on. Each has their own unique playstyle thanks to their skills and passives. Each rabbit has 4 skills. A primary, secondary, ultimate and defensive. These are the identity of each rabbit and I suggest you read through them when you pick a new rabbit for the first time and practice at the training puppet before embarking on the adventure to get a feel for them. There are 4 types of upgrades for each ability. They do not stack and replace each other if you p...

Rabbit and Steel is a phenomenal experience for the asking price. The game takes all the enjoyable bits of MMO boss raids and streamlines it into a roguelike co-op experience. The difficulty is also quite demanding, despite the visual identity possibly tricking you into thinking it'll be a light experience I was pleasantly surprised with the difficulty of a lot of the bosses and stages especially on Lunar difficulty! The game has a lot on offer and is pretty easy to understand and pick up on without having much mmo or roguelike experience. I would heavily recommend playing this with friends though, most my enjoyability with the game stemmed from playing with my best friend and screaming at eachother on a call as we narrowly dodged attacks and worked in unison to take down some of the harder challenges in the game. Rabbit and Steel is definitely worth your time and money!
