About the Game

Plan ahead, outsmart enemies and progress a world of dark creatures and cunning evil. Utilize playful and tactile weaponry in visceral and intense combat. Create unique builds by combining weapons, gear, tools, and enchantments to suit your playstyle. Whether you’re a gun-blazing risk-taker or a careful strategist, the choice is yours. Adapt your approach, experiment, and survive the dangers of Sulfur.

Enter a world packed with relentless action, powerful firearms, and dynamic FPS combat, where unpredictable enemies lurk in every shadow. Arm yourself with an array of weapons that can be modified and enchanted with a vast range of attachments and effects.

As you explore, uncover hidden secrets, collect valuable loot, and discover rare treasures – but tread carefully. Every decision counts: the gear you bring may be lost if you fail, and the equipment you leave behind won't be there when you need it most. Risk and reward are tightly intertwined in every choice you make.

Experience the atmosphere, suspense and tribulation of a world in redemption. What happened? And why? Travel through eerie caverns, sordid Black Guild shanties, putrid sewers and pass through castle walls and beyond. Go deeper, head on. Answers come to those who listen.

Explore, discover, uncover. On your adventure you encounter strange creatures in unexpected places—pay attention to their warnings. Whether they despise, admire, or ignore you, your path is yours to forge. Stay alert; these encounters may offer insights, but ultimately, it’s up to you to push forward and find the answers you seek.

A bloodstained white collar

Dirt on your shoes

Your shoulders are aching

Is this but a ruse?

A coven is suspect

A church is aflame

Who is the culprit?

Who is to blame?

Ocean screaming,

Twisting turning

Mouth is dry,

Eyes are burning

But you must tread on,

There is no remorse

Brush the saltwater film

off your Palehorse™

I love PvE singleplayer extraction shooters. They're probably my favourite genre, and there aren't many of them. This game has all of the right groundwork in place. The art is great, the shooting is good, there's lots of loot and different weapons and customisation options. It's great. I even like the story. I can't recommend it, though. Initially I felt the game was too easy. I was worried. I didn't die or use the amulet a single time prior to the fifth area. I have now ended a third play session in a row closing the game after dying in the fifth area by spawning into a floor with 10+ enemies directly in my face with nowhere for me to go but forward into more enemies. The game trains you, through consistently being outnumbered, having limited inventory space, having limited weapon durability, and healing being non-instant to be methodical. So, it is particularly frustrating when I've been methodical for 30 minutes only to find myself, for the third time: Spawning in...

Don't really like extraction shooters so i went in with low expectations, so i really didn't expect this game to be as addicting as it is. I can only encourage that you try it out.

good game, i dont think extraction shooter fits its description at all and the people who are slapping the tag on dont truly know what one is. nor do they know the difference between Rogue-like and lite apparently

This game is worth both your time and your money. The fast paced action is mixed beautifully with the simple inventory management and crafting mechanics. I find new items every time I open it up! The gun mechanics also add plenty of spice to the game play. Can't wait for full release!

Loved certain things about this game, a cool take on the extraction shooters but cant recommend it in it's current state due to poor mid to late gameplay loop. With future updates this might change but the experience felt super grindy and tedious after the first level. The good: -The combat feels fun and engaging until you get to the hedge/castle. -Visuals are nice and a vibe -Music, some tracks are absolute bangers -Liked the cooking mechanic and how the loot feeds into it -The loot system is awesome and constantly had the "should I take this but drop that?" moments The bad: -Locking blocking/parries behind certain melee weapons is lame and you should get a better parry with better weapons. Your base sword should be able to block at a bare minimum. -The grind to get your gear back up kills any want to continue playing after a bad death, no trader to buy the lost gear back damaged or way to reliably gear up with the money (Sulf) gained I have 20k and nothing I can really spend it on...

Pretty boring and mediocre with a stable foundation but this game still needs time in the oven. The gunplay and feedback from shooting and aiming feels bad and way off. The systems with oils needs to be redone, there are oils and scrolls that simply are just worthless. Alot of guns are also worthless or bad. Gun atatchments need to stop having this 20% crit chance on this scope, but 25 % on the other scope. Just feels silly when you can buy the best scopes and muzzles from the church shop. The game needs more vertical secrets and exploration, The double jump should be used for this reason. Bad feedback when hitting enemies, sometimes its hard to tell if you hit them when aiming down ( their models have this white flash when they get hit). The music was okay. The game would benefit from a talent-system, or more atachments on guns. Anything to make it more customizeble. Also make the gameplay loop more interesting with random events and minibosses.

Hit detection is like super clunky, bodyshots vs headshots feels like theres no difference, which doesnt help ammo economy at all which is kinda oof for a "shooting" game 90% of the game is also like inventory management n finding what crafts into what random healing item, bummer...

Been enjoying this game a little too much recently, got to the desert stage and got hit with the "coming soon". Need more of this, hope an update isn't too far off. :^D
