About This Game

It's a Shipper's biggest fear. You're grounded in the exclusion zone, twenty miles of death and decay sealed off by the towering, suffocating walls erected after the collapse.

Alone, stranded, and with limited resources at your disposal you'll have to push your way through the zone, solve environmental puzzles, manage resources and fight for your life as you try to find a way to escape beyond the wall.

Play as Mica, an unlicensed black market shipper who will stop at nothing to find her missing partner.

It’s been 12 days since Sasha left.

You talked about it, you argued about it and you even laughed about it. Anybody in their right mind knew going to that place was a death wish, a one-way trip to the end of the line. But Sasha wasn’t one to scare easily, she wanted answers and there was only one place those answers held any truth. Her mind was already made up, you just didn’t expect her to do it without you.

Twelve sleepless nights later and you finally get the call. Tax has found someone, A border security suit looking to make some extra credits on the down-low. He can get you clearance, a two hour window to fly into the zone, find Sasha and get the hell out of there.

You make your way across the exclusion zone but something’s wrong. The nav's running in circles and you're losing altitude. Before you know it a blinding white fills the sky. The dash goes dark and your hover drops out of the air like a lead balloon, slamming into the paved streets below.

You wake to the acrid smell of an electrical fire, rain pounding on the cracked windshield. You're surrounded by the crumbling remains of what were once considered homes.

You need to find a way out. Call for evac, scale the walls. Something. Anything. Survive.

Honestly a really solid survival horror game that I felt did a lot of stuff right and didn't fall into any of the classic pitfalls I normally see in the genre like overly obtuse puzzles or lack of direction in where to go next. Worth keeping in mind the extremely small dev team but even then I'm kinda blown away with a lot of the visual presence the game has. I liked it enough to get all the achievements and that's not something I usually do. Played through it twice with both fixed camera/tank controls and third person camera/ modern controls and found both to be pretty nice and you can change them at any time if you'd like. So if you're looking for a pretty solid survival horror I'd say this one is a good game even at full price.

The vibe is there but the action isn't. Lots of dialogue/cut scenes with little enemies around to keep things interesting. I wish the devs had put more effort into making the game more interactive in the beginning because the potential is there. There's just too many empty rooms that all look the same that it got boring really quickly. Give me more strays, give me more action, dont just make me go up and down a hallway with the first enemy encounter appearing an hour later into the game. I'll still play to finish the game but it's not what I was expecting at all.

Honestly, I just felt that there could be more to the game. It's incredibly short and the ending I got wasn't very satisfying. Melee combat doesn't feel great and enemies take a lot of bullets to take down, so I was constantly just running away, which can work out when there are fewer enemies, but with the high amount of enemies, just felt like I was avoiding half the game. The setting of the game is weird, a "futuristic" setting that also seems to be stuck in the past. The visuals were interesting, but I felt that it was just too much grey, even for a game that you could tell was going for that angle. There were many different control options to play the game, I chose the default tank control with some fixed camera angles, which felt ok, but also felt like it wasn't the optimal way to play the game, when I could have switched to more standard controls at any time. I don't know, the game feels like it is trying to be too many things at once and honestly not succeeding at any of these ...

It's like playing low budget Silent Hill, its decent but very short as well.. Recoed on a good sale (I do get the very mixed reviews it has but I still reco it for ~5€) + Very nice setting and levels + SH vibes all game, sometimes it has so much SH in it u almost feel like ur in Silent Hill - Rarely u feel like its so much being a low budget SH when it should try being its own thing (has potential) + Uses SH 1 "radio enemy here" and menu click sounds (its a nice touch, radio don't make 2 much sense as u never pick it up or gets explained xd) - Graphics are kinda bad for a new game (I'd get if it had pixel graphics or something but this just has bad/low quality assets/graphics - not terrible but should be better, is still playable dw) - Very low enemy variety - Only 2 bosses - Final boss fight is soo bad (nice idea for another boss but for finale we need more shooting and bigger threat) +- Combat is SH like but it should be better (you sometimes miss w melee when u shouldn...

A decent 6/10 retro survival horror game made by a solo dev. Pros: - It has the right atmosphere. - It will scratch that survival horror itch for you. - It never outstays its welcome. - It successfully captures the feel of PS2-era survival horror games. - It has multiple endings. Cons: - Buggy (on two occasions I met enemies that couldn't be hurt and couldn't hurt me; sound was failing at times; the target indicator was missing at times) - It looks dull. - The final boss fight is underwhelming. - The enemy variety is low. - The story is nothing to write home about.

I liked it. It's interesting that the last few survival horror games I've played have options for vastly different camera and movement controls. I suppose it's to appeal to both the Silent Hill and RE4 fans out there.

Excellent throwback survival horror with a great atmosphere and soundscape. A nice short experience, though I think it's open areas weigh the game down a little.

This was fun - well worth your money and time. The story passed me by a little bit but the tension/horror was most definitely there. Well done Nathan I had a great time!

So for starters and transparencies sake i am a lover of horror but a total weenie when it comes to horror games. I was able to complete this game all the way on standard difficulty with not much hesitancy and really enjoyed it! The horror style here is all about mood and setting with maybe 2 jump scares throughout the whole thing and while it definitely take from the survival horror greats like Silent Hill, the ammo management was minimal and the inventory is infinite. The story is fairly minimal but you can see the interest and time was put more into the world and it's story over the complexity of the singular protagonist. The use of effective notes around the environments and radio signals that give you glimpses into the past of the place you are exploring give a nice, fleshed out feeling to the setting while creating a bit of mystery that moves you forward. The combat feels a bit clunky though it seems somewhat intentional in an early PS1 horror kind of way. It was never frustrating...
